I would like to see a police force that governs its own city or state and refuses to submit to Federal pressures. I don't think we should be forced into sharing information with the CIA or the FBI. Once all information can be obtained by a single powerful company, there goes all privacy.

Sharing information about crimes can be a good thing, but sharing information about individual private citizens is big brother in
the making.

No links to info here, just simply your feelings about 911 and why. You don't have to provide proof of feeling the way you do, just explain why you feel that way. This is just a sounding board if you will. I'll go first.

So what's your take on this tragedy?

I don't think a global "terrorist" organization called Al Qaeda exists, but the people responsible for this are certainly the worst kind of global "terrorists."

It's not enough that they did this horrible evil disgusting thing, they did it to scare the people of America into giving up their rights and freedoms, and they passed an act through congress (written months before 9-11 BTW) that gives our government dictatorship powers over the "free" people and they wrongly called it "The Patriot Act" in an effort to intimidate anyone's criticism of it.

Anyone who apposed the Patriot Act were reminded that we are at war with "terrorism." It was also immediately shoved down our throats that Osama Bin Laden and his band of terrorist did it. However, the FBI did not have any evidence at all connecting Ben Laden to the attack.

Now the CIA reveals that Al Qaeda as a global terrorist network does not really exist. They just made that name up to represent any Islamic extremist acts of terrorism or any act of terrorism at all could be blamed on "Al Qaeda."

The stupid thing about this is that people still believe that "Al Qaeda exists" and is a global terrorist network and that they were responsible for 9-11.

To quote a Shakespearean play "THERE IS SOMETHING ROTTEN IN DENMARK."

What are my personal feelings about 9-11? I am disgusted and angry that evil men would do such a thing. No, actually I am horrified and sickened. There is something very rotten at work in this country and in this world. But I am not going to let any of that change my life.

I don't believe the propaganda. I don't believe the 9-11 commission. I don't believe the official B.S. stories. I have lost all faith in the leaders of this country and all faith in the Media that reports their B.S.

I also believe there are more people than they realize who think exactly the same thing. Their days are truly numbered. The truth will be known and their Karma will come back to them.

when and where did CIA say al queda didnt exist?

They didn't.

Yeah I think its just because a lot of them are paranoid and have guns.

There are GOOD cops out there but they are few and far between. I have to actually look for them sometimes.

Actually there are a lot more good ones then bad ones. I deal with Law Enforcement on a daily basis. You just hear about the bad ones more often because they make better press.

I am very disheartened by much of what I am reading. What I see being posted is intolerance, distrust, and fear. Even worse, it is advocating those three things by offering justification for it.

Meanwhile, I have a real issue to deal with - a bombshell - that makes all this seem pale by comparison. But due to the personal nature, and the involvement of another, I will not state the problem to protect the individual's privacy.

All I can say is that things could be much much worse than they are. There are millions of people living in other countries who can testify to this. Yet all we do is bicker and squabble in discontent while others try to enter this country by hook or by crook just so they can have a shot at a better life.

If it was so bad, those people would stay home because it would look like paradise by comparison.

This is true. We live in the best country in the world. We would like for it to remain so.

We are not just "complaining." We see things that are not right and we point them out.

To do nothing while government gives itself more and more power might not be a good thing. The problem in other countries is that government has too much power over the people.

We the people should be the power.

I'm talking about innocent private citizens. No-knock warrants, wire tapping without a warrant, invasion of privacy etc.

(And public figures also commit crimes.)

Amen, as the saying goes evil people succeed because good people do nothing. That is exactly how we have gotten into the mess we are in, cause we have allowed it to happen. If we keep allowing it, it will only get worse, bank on it.

How about the Patriot Act? That singlehandedly gave the government the right to spy on its' citizens. That is a HUGE one.

Healthcare bill which is about anything but is another.

The Patriot Act is ONE infringement that I disagree with but it is still one amongst THOUSANDS of freedoms we retain as US citizens

the healthcare bill isnt setting us down a road of no rights anymore than the advent of medicare or medicaid or social security did

accidents and illness happen and people dont usually expect them but SOMEONE has to pay the cost after

wherever that cost is assigned, the fact that we have the right to treatment in the first place, flies in the face of the lack of freedom argument...

Problem is, THEY are gonna be controlling the care you get, and this is documented fact. When you give them the power to control and regulate your own healthcare and how you choose to take care of yourself, that does not a free person make.

That's on top of being forced to buy it, whether you have it, need it, or want it. The entire thing is nothing like it appears.

Kleisto, where is this documented? What type of 'control' do you mean?

there are already certain 'controls' called regulations and rules that the doctors and pharmacists and drug companies must follow? So what new 'control' will there be?

See, this is the type of opinion posing as fact I am speaking about,,,,

in this country, emergency rooms are MANDATED to accept patients. THOSE situations incur costs that SOMEONE must pay.

so if doctors must treat people who are dying, what is so unfair about mandating a system that has those costs covered up front, as opposed to waiting for collection agencies?

this doesnt change your choice to take care of yourself . or even how....

If you'd actually read the damn bill, you'd know, THAT's where it's documented. Of course not many people actually have, which is how they got the thing passed in the first place.

Hell Nancy Pelosi herself even said that they needed to pass the bill to see what's in it. WTF kinda bass ackwards logic is that?? If that doesn't raise red flags to people, nothing will.

good grief, another far reaching and inaccurate opinion piece

this paragraph alone has been debunked over and over

"Those 65 and older will be required to undergo mandatory 'end of life' counseling to determine if they are worthy to continue to not only live, but take much needed resources from those who are younger and more worthy to receive them. Counselors will be trained to discuss how to end life sooner, how to decline nutrition and hydration, how to go into hospice, etc.," she said. "

whoa

Al-Qaida exists - just hobbled is all.
Obama Bin Laden doesn't exist.
Not anymore. RIP.

The full understanding of 911 was pretty much well known on 912.
The commission report had no earth shattering revelations and
there have been no further important developments on the topic
since the commission report. No need for any links to outside
information. Anybody can find the debunking911 site.

Nothing new here except fresh hot air.

laugh

And that is useless except for making popcorn.
