Maybe if America did not do a coup d'etat In Iran in the 1950's? We established a western culture in an Islamic country. No wonder they hate our guts.

Bradley E. Manning (born December 17, 1987) is a United States Army soldier who was arrested in May 2010 in Iraq on suspicion of having passed restricted material to the website WikiLeaks. He was charged in July that year with transferring classified data onto his personal computer, and communicating national defense information to an unauthorized source. An additional 22 charges were preferred in March 2011, including "aiding the enemy", a capital offense, though prosecutors said they would not seek the death penalty. He was found fit to face court martial in April 2011, and currently awaits the first hearing.[1]

Manning had been assigned in October 2009 to a unit of the 10th Mountain Division, based near Baghdad. There he had access to the Secret Internet Protocol Router Network (SIPRNet), used by the United States government to transmit classified information. He was arrested after Adrian Lamo, a computer hacker, reported to the FBI that Manning had told him during online chats in May 2010 that he had downloaded material from SIPRNet and passed it to WikiLeaks. The leaked material is said to have included 250,000 U.S. diplomatic cables; footage of a July 2007 Baghdad airstrike; and footage of the May 2009 Granai airstrike in Afghanistan.[2]

Only cowards and liers are afraid of the truth.
He also took an oath against enemies both foreign and domestic.

Those he rated out are the enemies and liers and fraudsters that commited this country to criminal wars with the intent to rob our treasury.

I'm talking about the scumbag HACKER Adrian Lamo who blew whistle on Manning!

He should be given a medal. He did what was needed to be done. He said he weighed the options and the informaiton Manning was sending him put a LOT of lives at risk and he didn't want that on his concious.

TOTALLY AGREE....Loved what he did...men like Manning put the lives of every "child" in our country at risk...I hope he gets life w/o parol, death sentence would be too good for him...and don't even get me started on Julian...Talk about trash....

I agree, if I were President I would task the CIA with either "getting" that guy or getting him back on US Soil to face charges.

Hell, if they could pull of killing Kennedy they can pull of getting a pissant like Assange.

We have to wait in line, Sweden has first crack at him on the alleged rape charges ...Once Assange has exhausted all of his appeals and is extradited to Sweden, US will nail his azz...In the meantime gov't officials are pouring over the stolen docs with a fine tooth comb and preparing their case against him...

It would just be cheaper to permanantly "END" him.
wow you sound like a nazi. You certainly do not sound like an american.

I wonder, if that's the way you feel, would you call those who support Manning traitors?...
basicly we had a government that continualy lied was caught up in the lies due to manning and wiki leaks.

Who exactly is the bad guy here?

Why does he need to be murdured? seriously someone said he should be!

That is certainly worth reporting to the authorities is it not?

Executed, not murder. It is a justified punishment for Treason and aiding the enemy in the time of war.

Thats funny..

I find it interesting that Assange chose to embarrass the US over say Russia or China..

Do you think Assange would ever see a trial if he exposed Russian or Chinese secrets or do you think he would have already been assassinated like journalists that expose a lot less?
He didnt expose secrets as in the case of the Israeli Spy pollard he exposed lies and that is the real american way.

Its pathetic that people call for manning to be shot when all he did was expose lies and Pollard exposed real secrets.

Or dare we even toss the valarie plame case out there for debate as well.

Its no small wonder america has sunk so low with comments filled with so much passion yet have no base in reality.

Pollard should have been executed as well(eventhough we arn't at war with Israel and everything he stole was only information on Arab states that could hurt Israel).

I also think Robert Hanssen, Harold James Nicholson, Aldrich Ames and all the others should have been executed.

Reveal the truth and face prison. Welcome to the new America.
What "Truth"?
Wasn't his Job to violate his Oath!
He's a Swine!
Wasn't his Job to release those Documents!
Please inform yourself before making such a Boner!

I think some peeps would be happier working for Julian....and working against their country...

Good afternoon Con...waving

How can anyone support this country?

Jeese and people still wonder how hitler came to power.

The answer is blind patriotism my country right or wrong.

This country is going down fast not only economicly but our basic freedoms are now gone. If you support the governmnet as it is your realy the traitor.

The crux of the problem are people who DO NOT support "their" country....

Blind patriotism? Pleeeeezeeee!slaphead Speak for yourself...

This country is not going down...even sensationalism spouted by those who speak out against their country will not make it so...One reason is because their are so few in numbers...Another is because they spend their time complaining rather than doing....
Hey if we do more than complain we could be locked up for life without a trial. have you watched the news lately?

Do you realy agree americans no longer have the right to a fair trial?

isnt that just a basic right?

You have heard of the indenfinate detention act havent you?

Actually the whole fair trial thing is questionable with people out there like Nancy Disgrace slanting public opinion, BUT I think military trials are fair.

there is a time and place for everything and some secrets are important to keep

I think MOST internationally influencial policies and actions do not need to be 'exposed' in an internet culture to what is ultimately the WHOLE WORLD,,,,

So national security means the goverment can lie to its citizens at will and for whatever reasone it deems necessary?

Tell that to Nixon.
Or Oliver North
and to be fair.
Tell it to Bill Clinton:wink:

thats arguing extremes really

national security calls for MANY things to be kept strictly within certain departments and organizations and not on a GLOBAL medium like the internet or television

not for 'whatever' reasons, but for legitimate reasons

as citizens we expect a certain 'privacy' of our information and there is information within government that deserves that same 'privacy'

I have things that are just noones business, including government. Whether thats called having something to hide or not,, I just enjoy a certain right to boundaries around what I Can keep to my self and where I Can expect some privacy.

When you're doing things that effect us, we have every right to know. What we do doesn't effect an entire country, but what they do does. There's a HUGE difference between the two.

Once you allow them the ability to hide particular things, you open the door to abuse, lies, deceit and cover ups. The best way to keep them accountable is to demand transparancy.

Then you will have no one to blame but yourself if they decide to come down on YOU for something they deem wrong. You will have given them the power to do it of your own accord. Once you give them an inch they will take a mile. It's attitudes like this that has given them the power to take away our rights to a fair trial.

The 4th day of the preliminary hearing to determine whether Private Bradley Manning should face court-martial on 22 charges which, if convicted, would result in a sentence of life in prison concluded Monday with 15 or 21 witnesses having been called..

Most notable testimony included the introduction of records on Manning's personal computer of internet chats with former hacker ADRIAN LAMO in which the defendant confessed to leaking the info to twice accused rapist JULIAN ASSANGE....
