Just want to point out that it doesn't matter what Manning stole from his employer, the United States Military, what matters is that he broke his sworn oath to his employer and now he will have to face the consequences...Stealing is stealing....I would think all you truth seekers would be able to grasp this concept...

First it was swear words now its stealing....wow

Murder must rank very low on your books

I grasp it alright.

When your "employer" is a criminal you have a duty to turn him in.

People have the right to do what is right no matter what kind of rules and regulations have been imposed upon them.

We, as human beings, can chose to answer to a higher authority. That is the authority of our own conscience and our own religious or spiritual sense of right and wrong.

Although we may be subject to man's law, and the company's rules and regulations, we have a right to answer to God and human kind in our own way.

Nobody and no law can ever take that away from us.

P.S. we are not simply "truth seekers."

We will expose the lies.

We will do what is right until we die.

Put that on a Hallmark card and send it to Manning if he gets life instead of execution...It might do some good for the country, keep him from breaking another piece of fine china at the taxpayers expense...

We are indeed in a win-win situation.

And it’s all because we know that truth is on our side.

Yes I believe that anyone who tells the truth should be treated with respect and not punished.

After all we teach our children not to tell lies.

Remember that people in charge are elected to do good for the greatest number of people.

Bradley Manning should not be punished.

We are not talking about the woman that exposed ENRON or the agents that exposed Fast and Furious.

We are talking about someone that leaked classified information with the sole purpose of embarrassing the country he took an oath to defend.

What does his releasing diplomatic cables have to do with telling the truth about Iraq?

He is bound by the UCMJ and should be prosecuted...

More often than not, "classified information" is only classified in order to cover up war crimes and corruption.

What's true is true. The information he exposed did not hurt anyone.

That is funny..

He stole thousands of classified cables. How many of them exposed crimes or corruption?

Problem is, when you are the ones making the laws, and have such power that you are in effect above them, the laws don't apply to you.

You're gonna have to face the fact sooner or later, that there is a double standard in our legal system. They can get away with things and in fact have gotten away with things, that we cannot simply because of the power they wield. So long as they have said power, this is unlikely to change. Absolute power, corrupts absolutely.

You may want to consider the fact also that in other countries, as has been talked about here before, people like Bush and Cheney have been wanted for arrests for said serious crimes you speak of here. Why are they in trouble in other places, but yet in this country they are not? Think about that.....

They who hold the power, can get away with just about anything because they have it, and it very much is true in the United States. The accountability level is simply not the same.

That's right Kleisto. Some people still think that the law applies to everyone equally, and if one of the elite commits a crime, they will naturally be punished. That will only happen IF the other elites decide to sacrifice him.

Defense rested it's case Wednesday after presenting little evidence to counter charges against Private Bradley Manning...
It appeared defense attorney David Coombs all but conceded with this admission...."The government has told you a lot of stuff about HOW things happened, we're telling you WHY they happened."
Defense spent most of their two days portraying Manning as a troubled young man in an effort to "soften" his sentence....
Defending the famous Helicopter vid, Manning's attorney's argued that the video was not classified!!!!!!

Its very simple. They lie, they cheat, they kill, they steal. They, the elite, are above the laws because they write the laws and make the rules and expect all the people to obey.

Why do you think religions put such an emphasis on obedience? It is because they want obedience to be ingrained upon the consciousness of all of mankind who have been manipulated and designed to be slaves of the empire since the very beginning.

They plan for a new world leader and will present him as a king or queen to be worshiped and obeyed basically. They want to destroy all the religions and create only one. They want a monarchy.

Look how even today Americans swoon over the royal family as if they were special. It makes me want to puke.frown sick sick
