255 local matches... and about 3 of them have been on in the last month... if all I wanted to do was post in forums and chat with people hundreds of miles away there are tons of sites for that!

from my experience i dont use this site as a dating site,i use it to talk to people bc ive met a lot of great and nice helpful and funny people and i use other sites to find people to date,which is were i met my new boyfriend,

pretty much my point exactly... this dont look much like a dating site.

It can be both. Have patience and give people in your area a chance to see what you are about in the forums. If your posts are upbeat and amicable your responses will go up.
Your profile is not going to help your chances. When you make a better effort then your mutual matches will be notified and more people in your age group/location will check in. |

there are nudges and people who viewed, and you can even 'search' by your own criteria I find many of the nudges and people who viewed are usually ONLINE , because it doesnt work in two weeks, doesnt mean it doesnt work,,, |

You are right, this is not your ‘usual’ dating website so can understand your frustrations … in saying that though, I think you’re being a tad naïve .. anyone who is serious about dating someone doesn’t settle with one website, they join multiple sites in order to improve their chances of meeting someone. don't the other sites charge? i mean this site is free and if it's dead why would i go to a site that charges?? this isn't about being negative this is stating the facts. this site is dead!

Every match that shows up for me has not been online in like forever. But I keep my account on this site because I've met some really great people.
As for the dating aspect, I use other free dating sites for that. |
