These dreams of mine
Within my grasp
Yet so far away
Not looking for a Knight in shining armor
I know they don't exist
I don't need to be rescued
Even if they did
A simple man
A wood cutter is what I seek
So real yet so far away
One who understands the stillness
Doesn't mind the silences
Gets my humor
Knows that floating on a cloud
Is the only place to be
Knows that beauty is in all things
And can plainly see it all
Understands that without darkness there is no light

These dreams of mine

I seek not fame nor fortune
Just my words to heal and help
I'm not a princess
Just a poet gardener
A simple woman
Being one with the stillness
Content with the silences
Floating on a cloud is where I am
Beauty reigns in everything
Because of my darkness I exist in the light
