Good morning, friends. We finally got some rain. I got rid of the hornet's nest under my boarder's air conditioner. I noticed the red wasps had the place under the eaves and the hornets took to under the air conditioner. Seem like they were getting along quite well until I brought out the Black Flag for wasps and hornets.

My aunt Bea made some Zucchini bread and some oatmeal chocolate chip cookies. The church had a big yard sale to send to my aunt Forestine who is missionary in Kenya. I am enjoying the cooler weather.

Sure like this cooler weather. Good morning, folks. Lady and me went out in the yard and Lady was chewing on some grass. Then, she went to dig some more in this hole she had dug in before.

Good morning Roy and friends, Came back from vacation to this wonderful cooler weather (75-83, about 57 at night), how great it feels..Sun is out and going to be a nice day with a chance of a shower...Have a good day everybody!!

Welcome back from your vacation, Carole. I have enjoyed this cooler weather. Too bad the grass took notice of the little bit of rain. At this rate I may have to cut my grass, again.

It was quite a storm. Lot of lightening flashing and thunder sounds. We even got some rain. The air smells fresh outside this morning.

I just had to get out there in it. I was feeling lazy so I went after these sticker vines around the pump house electrical meter. I am sure the guy who reads the meter will appreciate it. I will have to take another shower. I have been taking a lot of showers here lately.

HI Carol, had a great time but missed meeting up with Jeff (tazztop). I was sick first few days and then was trying to catch up..Was 100 everyday I was there...lol

I am doing better, Carol. I haven't had a working vehicle in a couple of weeks but with the help of my friends I have been making it to work, my meetings and to the grocery store. My boarder is doing better. She is just about ready to move out into her new place in town. Her friend she was going to move in had to change her mind since it would take away some of her benefits if she had someone living with her. I was kind of wishing since my boarder's ex's girlfriend left him that maybe he and her would get back together. But now I feel kind of stupid trying to play match maker to a couple of exes. She still loves him but as my new friend who is trying to help her move out says she really needs to get a place of her own. So Norma, my friend who is trying to help Kathy and me to help Kathy move into town told me that since Kathy said it was okay for me to pay for the fixing of Kathy's car by letting Norma pay the repair bill said that I could pay just half of it and Kathy could pay the other half later. Since Kathy sees her money as her money and my money as her money I am ready for Kathy to move on. This I am only need to stay with you to winter then I will get my own place three years ago has been a long winter indeed.
 Winters in Arkansas only last a few months.

Good morning Carol and Roy...
 A nice cool morning here, going up to about 83 today..the weather has been wonderful!! Had to get an MRI on my right ankle yesterday, having some pain in my foot.. Dr says I have a fallen arch and orthodics would help if that is the problem.. Will see the dr next week.. Sorry to hear about your car problems Roy... been there, done that a long time ago.... Hope you all have a beautiful day! |

I have fallen arches so I know they are painful. I try to wear shoes with arch support because those concrete floors at the nursing home are murder on my feet. One of the nurses tried to get me a pair of nurse's shoes but couldn't find any in a size 14. I could find size 14 crocs but when you are trying to give a shower to someone they can be dangerous. Crocs are really not that supportive of your feet. I have tried the Dr. Shoals gel supports but when they slide in your shoes and break down you ain't really gelling. Good morning, Carole.

Had that gall bladder problem after my last child was born(in '66). Three yrs later had to have it removed.. Never had a problem afterwards.. Take care and good luck with that...
