A way to cheat starting a lawnmower, give it a little shot of ether (like we do diesels in the hard cold). Just a good sniff & usually the first pull works. I need to buy some today, I looked yesterday and I couldn't find mine.. Works great for wasps also, spray the nest & they move out. Never tried it for that...I just go for the kill
On a concrete or metal wall, I spray & roast. Ether burns GREAT. around here it's all wood....I'd burn the place down!

Just do it on a neighbor's building then. |

Good morning. Just a good sniff of ether. Hmm. But I digress. It is getting colder out there. Finally, worked a deal with the 1984 Dodge truck. It has taken a year but he started out at $1500. Today, I gave him $250 and he will drive the truck to me this evening after he gets all of his stuff out of it. Then, I will pay him the remaining $250 pay day. He is a shrewd business man but I still think paying him $500 for the truck is less than paying him $1500 for the truck. And they say patience is a virtue.
Good for you Roy! Seems like you're the shrewd businessman!
He has a yard full of vehicles. The insurances; The price of gas to put in the 8 cylinder truck; The cost to keep his little favorite 4 cylinder going and having to come get me since my van has been in the shop was just too much for him. I know I will have to make sure to check the transmission fluid level in it every day but he says a quart a week will do it. The transmission pan cover will have to be fixed and I know it will need a new filter and transmission fluid change. It will need to have the oil change but it still has the original dry rotten, though spare with it. I will have to get a jack for it. He said it didn't have a jack when he bought it. Hey, I tried but beggars can't be choosers you know. I had to edit the two every days but he stressed the every day.

A little tender lovin' care never hurts anything... and you can always trade it off later!

Good morning, friends. I have really enjoyed riding high in the 1984 Dodge Ram Prospector truck. The 318 v8 motor in the truck sure has more power than the 1986 Dodge Caravan 2.6 4 cylinder.
