That was so cool that I got the oil change, tune up and radio working on the truck. My sister's boy friend did the labor for free. the guy who sold me the truck said he might have a camper shell that might fit it. I hope everyone is having a good day.

Good morning, fellow Minglers. Was nice to jam out to the oldies coming home. Makes the ride more enjoyable. Found out they are going to make me a float on third shift. Thank God, I have finally ascended. My head will be so in the clouds now that they will have to throw me a rope so I won't go into orbit.

Very windy here this morning although still fairly warm (53). I have only been out once since surgery and it's driving me crazy... My foot is doing well, off the pain meds for awhile now. Swelling is down much more than I expected.. Getting my stitches out on Tuesday.. Have a great day!!

Its been a little windy here as well. The heater works great in the truck. I just have to get that gas gauge working right. So far the general consensus is that the float is sticking in the gas tank. The needle moves to half a tank when it is full. One guy before told when the van had a similar problem that when the float in the gas tank sticks it has to be drained because of the weight to let it down. Good morning, Carole. I bet you are getting that Spring fever kind of thing. I know you like to travel and you are kind out of your element. I hope Tuesday comes soon for you.

HI Roy, I wouldn't care if it was spring or winter, I just need to get out.. After getting the stitches out I will still be using my walker as I will only be able to put partial weight on my foot.. the pins(in my toes) will come out 2 weeks after the stitches
so I still won't be able to drive...It takes a long time for tendons to heal inside because they are sooo thick..
Don't you just hate it when you have a vehicle that always has some little thing wrong with it?

I just hope it doesn't turn out like the van and I have to rebuild it from scratch. A friendly mechanic told me what causes the float in the gas tank to stick is from people over filling the tank. Evidently, it bends some little thing holding the float. My trouble with my geographical cures is that I take them too far. Where a normal person takes a vacation I just want to keep on going. But then I get homesick. So I go back home. I hope you manage to survive through the waiting period.

Thank you. I had some egg nog and some Hershey chocolate caramel. I bought her some Pepto Bismo. But I did get this nonstick frying skillet. One should never go grocery shopping on an empty stomach and need gas for the vehicle at the same time. It is just not prudent at this juncture.

Looks like a gloomy day, maybe rain, today..At least the temps are still mild.. Got part of my stitches out yesterday and the dr said everything is healing well.. Allowed to put partial weight on my foot now, just not on my toes..(still have pins there)..

Roy I went to the grocery store yesterday and boy did I over do it in the bakery. Every time I think diet I eat more geesh.

I think its the time of the year I did the same found myself buying stuff to make gingerbread and all the holiday yummys....I can never pass the bakery up.....Its worse if I'm hungry when I go to the store.
