Well you said that it's your "job" to show homosexuals the love that Jesus has for them. Has it ever dawned on you that maybe homosexuals already know that Jesus loves them just as they are?  Some do, some don't. Jesus called on his followers to show his love to the world. It's interesting that you are judgmental of me for saying that I want to show homosexuals love. It's almost as if nothing I do will never be "good" in your mind...

No, that's what Pat Robertson, some Christians and most non-Christians are mistaken on. Jesus taught that we are all rebel children, not that some of us are good and some are bad. Jesus said that we are all disobedient and need forgiveness. I'm no more or less sinful than the average homosexual. My job is to show homosexuals the love that Jesus has for them, not condemn or judge. it's your job to teach that? Christians are called on to show love, kindness and mercy to all people, so that those people will see how great our God is through us. |

so if there is a god, and he is against it, why? wouldn't there be a reason behind it? According to the Bible, God created men and women to be matching pairs. Men are made for women and vise versa. Want you to notice the sexually immoral. Homosexuality would fall into this category. It is immoral for again sex is for reproduction and the making of a family. Homosexuals can not do this, it is purely for the physical lust, which is then what classifies it as immoral. It does nothing positive for the world, the community, or the person. It is a physical desire, lust. So don't tell me Jesus never taught against homosexuality. Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. Jesus never taught against homosexuality. There is absolutely no reason to assume that he would object to it in any way. All but one sin is on equal grounding. All sins are forgivable but one. All sins but one are the same. The only sin greater then any other is denying the lord Jesus Christ. Outside of that all sins are equal. Weather that is sexual immorality eg., homosexuality, or lying. It's all equal. The only way to be forgiven of a sin is repenting from that which you seek forgiveness of. Sin will not enter into the gates of heaven, thus if it's not forgiven it can not enter, thus this person can not enter. |

I've supported gay rights for years and very vocally in these forums. I don't support Government intervention in marriage for gays or straights. Marriage should be a purely religious ceremony, which would be protected by the 1st Amendment. Get with the program. |
