I just got perv'd by a man 12 years my senior, literally (we share the same birthday, just not the same year) and me and him became fast friends. My fiance 12 years ago was 33 and was 15 years my senior. (Yeah) I prefer my men older than I. The man I am hoping to be married to a year from now is 8 years older than me. My EX husband was 1 year older than I and we didn't last long. (divorced within 2 years) |

When I first started I viewed a bunch of women's profiles to get an idea of what people wrote.. Then I discovered that you can see who viewed you  ...oh well I think about what some might think when I check them out...but thats what the profiles are for...right.. Plus sometimes they check me out in return...and then we start to chat...so perv on Unless you're looking for the same sex i.e. woman looking for woman or man looking for man" the same sex can't see that you looked at their profile...  and i look at gals profiles just as much as mens.. i actually do this a lot of 2 who got together on here! i look at both profiles.. big deal im just happy for them and like to see the pics of them together here on their profiles.. I look at profiles of people that post in the forums and have said something interesting or completely ridiculous... It makes me want to get an idea of what they're about... And those that have looked at mine if I think they look interesting or very young.. Other than that I don't look at profiles... Deb, that was hard reading...

how often do you check out people's profiles? I often have the urge to check out people who are totally inappropriate for a date. I know that it will not offend anybody, yet, in the back of my mind, I have the fear that some 30-something cutie-pie is going to be thinking, "Why is this dirty old man checking me out? What is he thinking"? Is this fear unique to me? If I get curious about a profile, I'll check it out. Doesn't necessarily mean I'm interested in someone. Let people think whatever they want to think.

I've looked at thousands of profiles. Literally.
For one thing, I have to get material for the "ONE GLORIOUS PROFILE" thread from somewhere. I mean, sure, I could make stuff up, but it's more fun when it's the "real thing." For another thing, looking at profiles is a really good way to understand just how vapid, illiterate, and boring people can be, without even trying. Seriously. About 90% of profiles I've read would have been better if the person had just tossed a bunch of Scrabble tiles up in the air and then copied whatever convoluted mass of letters they made, and used THAT as their profile. I don't really concern myself with people's reactions to my looking at their profiles. A profile is there, ostensibly anyway, for public viewing, right? OK, so some people do get all bent out of shape when a "dirty old man," or whatever, looks at their profile. Whose problem is that? Hey, do you hear me complaining about the fact that everyone who looks at my profile is 48 and has 3 kids ("AND THEY ARE MY WORLD!") -- ?? Well, yes. Yes you do. My ethics are rather fluid, I guess. |

I check everyone, i dont care how old what sex or anything,
If I am going to be talking to people in the communitites I want to know who they are and find out what they like and all that stuff so I dont not know anything about them, so yep I have sticky beaked at everyones profile who is in any post that I post in as i want to know who you are .. |
