It's all in the way it's presented right? You stated an amount that you would spend and not more.. I find it ridiculous to put a price on a date.. If someone said "let's get a drink" I'm cool with that.. I'd rather they not spend a lot of money on a first date BUT to put a hard fast rule to what they "value" a date at, I find rude.. If I ask someone out I would pay and I wouldn't put a "limit" on what I'd pay but I'd choose a place that I could afford... How can I value someone I don't know? I'm willing to invest $30 or so to discover if I want to invest anymore. |

I've been on 3 first dates.
1: I was 16 and didn't pay for anything. He was 19 2: I was 19 and in college. I spent $206 (i think) and he (39 years) spent $7.11 3: last year (i was 22) and spent $3600 something. About $300 on the date and $3300 to replace his transmission as I'd never driven a clutch before lol |
