i would pay 10 for a bj, 20 for straight sex,
and if i was in a good mood 30 for half and
half. thing is women say that it makes them
feel like a prostitute if i suggest the
menu pricing. go figure

That there 'straight sex' sure sounds...budgety.
But the half a bj sounds interesting.

On a first date, how much money do you spend or expect to be spent on you?

I've always tried to get out as cheaply as I can with out shorting the fun. So, a light meal and a mid range local place, a few games of pool or bowling and a couple of drinks. This usually costs me about $30 not counting gas.

What about you guys?

its a tricky equation which comes down to what you can afford/what portion of that the other person is worth to you

I wouldn't spend more than 15 on a meal for myself, so it would follow suit that if she wants a meal that costs more than 15 she's too crazy for me to date...

I'd settle for a sandwich picnic in the park if the guy sets it up nice and goes to the trouble of asking me how I like my sandwich.

"Do you like dill pickles?"

"Of course?"

wait...that sounded dirty.

I love when men post this stuff on the internet.. It shows the women which ones to stay away from b/c they're cheapskates... laugh laugh laugh

My point was having a great date doesn't have to cost a lot. I've had great dates that cost me only the price of two snow cones and a few hours walking in the park.

But, sense you brought it up, we also learn who the gold diggers are.

It's all in the way it's presented right? You stated an amount that you would spend and not more.. I find it ridiculous to put a price on a date.. If someone said "let's get a drink" I'm cool with that.. I'd rather they not spend a lot of money on a first date BUT to put a hard fast rule to what they "value" a date at, I find rude.. If I ask someone out I would pay and I wouldn't put a "limit" on what I'd pay but I'd choose a place that I could afford...

That's funny, I always found men bragging: "I never pay for sex."

..after spending $100 on dinner, a movie and a meal...and not getting any.

I always offer to split the cost of a first date. That doesn't always happen, though. And I don't have a certain amount that I expect a guy to spend on me. That would be weird, though I bet there are women out there like that.

i like to go to a place that is nice and spend a little money is not a bad thing, dress up or not, like a little wine is all was a good touch if you ask me and see if that person can dance or not

Are there no women out there who like a good Happy Meal?

i don't know what the going date rate is, but if the signifance of how much money was or was not spent is the only measurable impression you're left with, then probably not a good date.
