Topic: Do men act differently towards blonds?

Tue 03/01/11 07:25 PM

I bleached my hair blond once long time ago. I kept it blond for two weeks. I had been brunette all my life.

WOW you would not believe the difference. I was approached by so many men wanting to get laid!

In the reverse, my sister who was a blond, dyed her hair brown. She said she couldn't stand it because she felt "invisible." Men just passed her by.

Men in general, in a dating environment, think blonds are easy. That is the conclusion.

Now for the men: What are your impressions and reactions towards a blond as compared to a brunette? Be honest.

Well I am not a man, and i dont know what it is like to be Brunette, or any other colour, but i do know that being me, I often get taken for dumb and easygrumble
Hmm could be that i am a little ditzy but thats not on purpose its just me, somewhere the brain misses some logical things.what
And for some reason a lot of men seem to think that just because you are friendly that you would like them to give you the honour of sleeping with them. That was pretty much the reason I came to mingle as i was sick of men thinking that one hello and I was ready to jump into bed.noway
I guess even on here, you get all the drongo's who ask you stupid questions in the first email, I had to request that men stop asking for sex or to get married in the first message, and i literally got close to 100 messages some days until I changed my profile. I dont know if that was because i was blonde or because they just think I am stupid.embarassed Even now I have changed my profile to state that I will only be friends and I still get piles of dumb messages, they dont even think to look at what i have written so arnt really interested enough to see if my brain is there or not. It appears that that is not really important.

I might change my profile again and put that i have some horrid disease that i would like to share.

Dye your hair for a few months and take notes. I would be interested in your results.

I think that most blond women are steriotyped as stupid or easy and sometimes whores. But this in most cases isn't true Hillary Clinton is blond but she aint stupid.

My hair is currently dark brown, but has been everything from dark brown, to pretty much blonde. In my experience, the men tended to pay more attention to the lighter hair, and the overall reaction from people was getting less respect. Women tended to like the look of the darker hair better, overall got more respect, and less attention from men. Just my experience, so overall, I agree with your theory.

noway noway No way, blonde hair doesn not dye well, I tried putting a red hair moose through it once and it turned pink. another time we put some stuff that was supposed to wash out and it was a nice bright blue , we where using it for a party and i was stuck with blue hair for almost a month.. Definately not a good look.
Oh and having blue hair does not make people attracted to you.tears

Just being a "blonde" doesn't mean that men will always pay attention to you. Yes, you will probably get more looks as a blonde. Why? I really don't know.

When I am driving down the road, and I see a car with a blonde in it, chances are I will look. It's instinctive. Did I look cause she is blonde? Yes, I did. This does not say that I prefer a blonde over a brunette, or a red head, or whatever. Men see blonde and they just have to look.

Then again, men see a leggy chick, and no matter the color of her hair, they will look. They see a chick with a nice chest, they are gonna look. Bottom line....WE LOOK!

I know guys who don't prefer blondes, but when they see an attractive blonde, they will look and admire. Blondes probably do garner more attention than other hair colors. And yes, some guys do feel that a blonde is "easier" to lay than say...a brunette. It's a stigma that haunts blondes.

Anyways....so yeah...guys love to look at blondes. Why? Cause we can. Lol!

yes and blondes are told from birth that people pay to have that hair color so why would you dye it?...that and the work it takes to keep your hair a color it didn't start at...okay so i watch other people work or not work at it either way i don't like the results...having never been a brunette I don't know

I personally look for the soul &(who's on the inside)
Hair color is just like the wrapping of a present.
It looks beautiful from the outside 'BUT' after you
take that wrapping off in some cases you have nothing
but pure evil on the inside!pitchfork
I know this from experience!

You never met my X-wife who was once a model for Revlon.
I came home from work unexpectly one day & caught her with an american airlines pilot in our bed she met on
one of her flights modeling.brokenheartsad

She was a good actress also playing the part everything was wonderful between us! smitten smitten

Since then I always LQQK for the "PERSON INSIDE"
not how they LQQK OUTSIDE!scared

When I was little, everyone wanted
to touch my hair. I wasn't sure why.
Only that it was somehow unique.
I think it gives a blond a certain
sense of..top of the food chain :-)

My mother had jet black hair.
I looked just like her, only blond.
So she dyed my hair black when I was
15.
You cannot switch skin tones!
I noted that I did not feel the same
with dark hair.
And the attention was greatly diminished.

When you change hair colors are you sure that you are acting the same? Most girls I have known to get their hair dyed act different, like they take on that personality. Like the difference when they wear their hottest dress vs baggy sweats or laid back jeans and t-shirt.

But then I have also know air head brunettes so in reality the color of their hair does not really matter...
