No, not all of them. Sure, they all want to try the car before they buy it. If they like it they eventually want to own it. Right guys?

I think men get tired of the dating game too. They want to "settle down" and find a woman who will cook for him and take care of him in his old age.

Men retire. Women only retire as widows. laugh

men and women alike want someone to cook and clean for them
women and men both desire fun and sex and intelligence

hair color is irrelevant or at most an aesthetic preference

My hair naturally, is a darker reddish blonde. I have flitted all over with it through the years, but got away from any coloring at all, last year, letting it go dark again.

Decided to color it light blonde again, and I've had more hits on my page since I put the new photo up. No emails, as I'm sure the profile info is driving them off, but I did find it funny that guys popping in to look is up.

Smart blondes tend to turn guys off, I've noticed.

I can only speak for me. There's a certain "flash" impression that blonds give off initially, but that is short-lived. The "dumb blond" thing is just stoopid. I have known plenty of blonds who are much smarter than me. All other things being equal, I will choose the darker tones, both with skin and hair color. Auburn is a color that drive me wild for a short time.

That`s so true, at least for me.
Im a brunette but had my hair colored light brown, blond, dark blond and even black. For me its a mood thing, depends on the fase im in.
Now is blond with some black in it.
I do think i get more attention as a blond and the long hair also helps. I can tell for sure that i turn more heads as a blond. But i also get more of the wrong attention too.
When i had very short black hair guys just assumed i was smart. Now they assume im dumb most of the time. When i talk its like im an allien or something.
Now when im wearing my glasses the hair color makes no difference! haha Perception is a strange thing.

Personal preference is for a non-blonde, but in general, when meeting any woman for the first time, I always (yes, always) look to see if her hair has been brushed recently or does she have the "just outer bed look"

I bleached my hair blond once long time ago. I kept it blond for two weeks. I had been brunette all my life.

WOW you would not believe the difference. I was approached by so many men wanting to get laid!

In the reverse, my sister who was a blond, dyed her hair brown. She said she couldn't stand it because she felt "invisible." Men just passed her by.

Men in general, in a dating environment, think blonds are easy. That is the conclusion.

Now for the men: What are your impressions and reactions towards a blond as compared to a brunette? Be honest.
My self i don't care what color hair you got i love women that have a great inner beauty that can laugh and have fun i not talking sex i talking having fun by not being so serious about everything relax life's to short ,some lady's i think are so picky in their life that it passes by before they know it , but i know some guys think lady's that are blond are more open and friendly to chat with thats what i hear but me i not picky as long if the person has a good heart and a caring person remember looks fade heart remains forever if you find a true heart hugssssss:) cheers flowerforyou waving

I'd like to try this "blond" thing out. An experiment, I would call it.

Great!! Me too.

If you don't want to bleach, get a wig and try it for a night.

You will see.

Its like an advertisement.

For droves of horny men drooling, put on a blond wig, some make-up and sexy shoes. Heels. Its unbelievable.

Hmmm I have had on a dark wig and really to a point i did feel invisible, maybe its because you can see us in the darker rooms easier.
I dont know what it is, but I definately get more attention blonde and dressed up then Dark haired,
Hmmm might have to see how much more attention i would get if I put bigger boobs in.tongue2 tongue2
The wierd thing is we often winge about being noticed and having people just think that you are a little simple and easy.

But truthfully, I think i would miss having people, stepping out and looking after me and liking me , I like people changing my oil, taking me shopping, coming on holidays with me and just doing all the little things that they dont think i can do without getting lost or hurt.
Its comforting to know that they are their.
yep i even sound strange to myself. but I like being blonde and i like being a little silly and i dont even mind all the dumb things that seem to happen to me, which I dont think is from being blonde. And i do have a high IQ it just doesnt seem like it.

Here we go with "generalizations" again. All men DO NOT think & act alike. Hair color means NOTHING to me. Each lady is unique to herself.

I have a book that is a very interesting read. It is called "You've got three seconds"

It is written by a highly paid image consultant. She says that people will sum you up and form an opinion of you three seconds after seeing you.

The book is great if you want to change your image.

How we present ourselves to others speaks volumes. What we wear, how we groom our hair, etc...

Its written by Camille Lavington. Every time I think I need a little bit of a make over, I read that book.

Hey "oldguy" generalizations are what we are talking about.

I did not say that ALL GUYS are more attracted to blonds.

I said: Men in general, in a dating environment, think blonds are easy. That is the conclusion.

I have discovered that there are certain guys who are attracted to brunettes and to the person more than the hair and makeup.

That's why I prefer to be brunette. As a blond, I found I had to fight off the mashers. (horn-dogs) That is just my personal experience.

I guess that the thread is about generalization.

Honestly If i walk through a club, with
long blonde hair, curves showing, a bit of boob out and swing my hips in a shorter outfit, , a large number of the general population of men do look, its just how it is.. I am not being vain, they just do,
And the longer your hair, the tighter the outfit and the more boob showing the more they look.

i dye my hair.. though closest to the natural color it was? lol which happens to be lt brown.. though i put blond because no matter what i do it tends to fade fast.. so.. my input to this is.. i have the color that i want... i dont chose a color of hair for anyone else... if a guy cant respect me for who i am on the inside then they dont need to be around anyway.. some respect me some dont.. i dont know if it has anything to do with my hair color or not.. i do tend to believe though if a man is gonna treat a blond with disrespect on her hair color alone that he more than likely would do that to a brunette as well and is just a part of their personality.

You are asking why, but it should be really easy to see.

Blond hair filmed better back when movies were being made in black and white. Its shinny, it can vary from white to dark honey, and the image photographs well against dark backlit scenes, i.e., on a balcony, in the twilight, at the clubs, in the bedroom.

It created a whole mecha of impressions that blonds are the girls who like to party. Girls who wanted to party, dyed their hair blond. Guys who wanted to find a party girl, gravitated towards blonds.

Its just a part of culture that never seems to die. Mainly because a lot of people have ADD and blond is shiny.

We react to sluts differently. It has nothing to do with hair colour.

I treat a woman differently if I get "The Vibe". If I look at a chick and think ...."No"..... I just treat her like anyone I don't want to have sex with.
