the two are CONCURRENT as far as I understand with no indicator that 2 happened AFTER 1

Genesis 1:1 - 2:3 - Creation according to God.
Genesis 2:4 - 2:25 - Creation according to Adam.

The same time period is discussed in both chapters. Adam gets some details wrong and then gives details about the creation of Eve.

Balderdash... States in no bible I have ever read that ADAM wrote or caused to be written ANY portion of that book...

besides which if I remember correctly my early childhood 'training' on the bible... GENESIS WAS WRITTEN by Abraham. (supposedly after a visit from angels).

Truth is that the book starts at creation.... continues through the begining of the cycle of Adam... and moves on smartly to the flood, moses, several 'prophets, and Jesus... It then goes to the 'end times' (revelations)...

Genesis 1 creation.
Genesis 2 begining of the cycle of Adam. (following the day of holiness).

Mankind itself was created before the day of holiness. (Where else would both Cain and Seth have found wives)...

thats one of many unanswered questions since mankinds INCEPTION

adam and eve were told to be fruitful, and they lived much different very probably much LONGER lives than we do now

and much further on a command was issued to not sleep amongst certain family members

so I can imagine that INITIALLY one family procreated amongst themself until there were different members in different regions to start their own families

It's passed down in Jewish oral tradition. There are men who can repeat the Torah verbatim even today, so we know that the oral tradition is a very strong method of preserving information.

Moses was the editor who put together the separate stories that comprise the Torah. Some of it was written by Moses, but most of it was probably already recorded on tablets or in the oral tradition.

where does it state that adam wrote any part of the book?

There is a history of the lineage of cain listed in the bible... It includes wives he had AFTER being banished from the land of Adam...

Mankind is far older than ADAM... We were created long before adam (1 day unto god is a thousand years unto a man)... and WE were created on the 6th day of God whereas Adam (according to Genesis) was created after the 7th day of God.

Prove me wrong... IT is clearly written as I have said.

Genesis 1:28

Where do you get this? How were we created before Adam when Adam and Eve were the first humans that were created? And how is 1year like 1 day to God? What evidence do you have of such? Hate to tell you my friend but 1 day is 1 day lol.

Aye this be chapter 1 of the Book of Genesis...

Yet still adams exists not. This is gods first commandment to humankind 'male and female' he did create them... and sent them forth into the earth.

Yet Adam is not made until after the Day of God... for though god rested but a day... a thousand years did man multiply upon the earth before Adam was made and place within a garden.

I did not say 1 day is like 1 day... I said 1 day to god is a thousand years to a man.

God created humankind on the 6th day of creation (So it is written in the oft quoted book)... 'male and female created he them'.
This is written in chapter 1 of the Book of Genesis.

then begins chapter 2...
He rested then before creating a garden and making a garden and placing Adam in that garden... (so it is WRITTEN also in that same oft quoted book).

Who then says that adam was the first man? How can one claim this falsenes when you very book of holiness says something different?
