Sometimes I wonder if you truly read your own oft quoted book.

mankind was not placed in the garden. Adam was made from dirt and placed in the garden to the east..(and eve after him)... On the day after god rested (i.e on the eigth day).

Mankind was created on the 6th day male and female (after the image of god)...

Which is why I refuse to buy into the 'sin' of adam and eve...

God created the world in 6 days and rested on the 7th. We are made in the image of God, we have the figure of our father, two arms, two legs, ect. This is absolutely true less someone has a form of deformity. So what does our appearance have to do with the sin of adam and eve?

Adam was not made in the image of god... Adam was made the day after god rested... From a pinch of dirt and gods breath. God caused a garden to be created in the east and placed Adam in that garden... THIS HE DID AFTER HE RESTED... unless your book lies.

What does Adam being made in the image of God and him being made from dirt have to do with anything?

If someone makes a plastered head figure of someone's head, that figure is made in the image of that person. Doesn't matter that it was made out of plaster or anything, was still made in the image of this person.

I have simply pointed out that MANKIND was not put in the garden of Eden... MANKIND was created during the creation of the world (to be exact upon the 6th day of that creation) 'MALE and FEMALE created he them'...

God then RESTED because he found his creation good...

He then (on the 8th day) caused a garden to be created 'in the east' and made Adam from the dirt and his own breath...

So you see only Adam and Eve were in that garden... THE REST OF MANKIND WAS CREATED BEFORE THAT on the 6th day.

Genesis 3:23-24

23Therefore the LORD God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken.

24So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life.

There is nothing in any of that that suggests that the Garden of Eden and Earth are two totally different places.

In fact, just like we dismiss Greek Mythology because there are no Gods to be found on Mt. Olympus we can dismiss the Biblical tales of Adam and Eve because there is no "Garden of Eden" being guarded by Cherubims and "flaming swords" that turn every way to keep the ay of the tree of life. whoa

What would be the point in having Cherubims and "flaming swords" guarding the tree of life if it is kept some place where no one can get at it anyway?

The fact that the fables claim that God placed guards at the East Gate of Eden implies that Adam could potentially try to get back in!

Otherwise why bother even putting this in the fable?

It's clearly just an ancient fairytale.

Cherubims and flaming swords? :huh"

We're supposed to dismiss fairies as being a silly idea, but Cherubims with flaming swords should be taken seriously? whoa

Wasn't two totally different places such as the earth and the moon. The garden of Eden put into lamens terms would be like a building. Inside that building it may be climate controlled, and the enviroment could be made perfect. Same with the garden of eden. It wasn't "The earth" in exacts. It was say a manson on top of the planet. A seperate entity that could be removed from earth if needed.

Was a time when Heaven and earth was one. Then God seperated the two hiding heaven. God will unite heaven and earth once again.

Well, gee, I don't know. I'll have to think about this.

You'll have to excuse me. Right now I have a couple of evangelists from the Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster at my door. Their stories sound at least as believable as yours.

They have an excuse for everything too.

Read them yourself... It is well layed out.

On the 6th day god did a few things then he CREATED man.... 'male and female created he them' is what it said in the version I read...

He then saw what he had done and felt it to be good... THE NEXT chapter he rests. Then he waters the earth then he creates adam (there are some versions that say ADAM and some versions that say 'a man'. Then he creates a garden to the east in Eden. He then places ADAM in the garden...

THIS WAS after the 7th day... ergo MANKIND was made on the 6th day... ADAM was made after GOD rested.

Have you ever thought that there was a REASON it is written in the order it is written.

Nah, that's not what it says.

By the seventh day God had finished the work he had been doing; so on the seventh day he rested from all his work. Then God blessed the seventh day and made it holy, because on it he rested from all the work of creating that he had done.

Have you ever thought that there was a REASON it is written in the order it is written.

Yes the world was created in 6 days, god rested, then made man and woman.

I am disapointed that you can read it and still not see it...

It is in a chronological and exact sequence. There is mention of 'male and female created he them' in chapter 1. It also states quite clearly that he finished.

IN chapter 2 he was pleased with all that he had created and so he rested made that day of rest 'holy' and commanded mankind (male and female he had created on the 6th day) to keep the day of rest 'holy'...

THEN HE CREATED ADAM... and a GARDEN TO THE EAST IN EDEN...

MANKIND had allready been created AND God had rested before he created ADAM.

Doesn't matter that it was made out of plaster or anything, was still made in the image of this person.

you stated... '"What in the world are you talking about? The world may have been a dog eat dog before man showed. Man was put in the garden of Eden where the paradise was, not here.

God created the world in 6 days, rested on the 7th. This would be after Adam and Eve were kicked out of the garden. If you have knowledge of it being differently, please include scriptures.

He then places ADAM in the garden...

thats not what the bible says

Aye that is exactally what the bible says...

Adam nor the garden is mentioned until AFTER god has rested...

Read it.

God rested in chapter 2. After he had created mankind (6th day)...

After it is written that he rested he then caused a garden to be ceated in the east... it even states where said garden is placed and what rivers bound its borders... He filled that garden with the good trees and such from his efforts at creation... He then makes adam and places adam in the garden.

THIS ALL TOOK PLACE AFTER HE HAD RESTED.

Why else do you think Cain did not simply die when he also was sent away to 'nod'...

because Mankind lived outside of area where the tribe of Adam and eve existed... Mankind had been made first 'male and female created he them'... Adam was made later... after god 'rested'.

It says nowhere that I know of that this happens after God rested

The sixth day in genesis one ends like this

28 And God blessed them. And God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth and subdue it and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over every living thing that moves on the earth.” 29 And God said, “Behold, I have given you every plant yielding seed that is on the face of all the earth, and every tree with seed in its fruit. You shall have them for food. 30 And to every beast of the earth and to every bird of the heavens and to everything that creeps on the earth, everything that has the breath of life, I have given every green plant for food.” And it was so. 31 And God saw everything that he had made, and behold, it was very good. And there was evening and there was morning, the sixth day.

and Genesis two, which focuses more SPECIFICALLY on the creation of man starts like this

4 These are the generations
of the heavens and the earth when they were created,
in the day that the Lord God made the earth and the heavens.

5 When no bush of the field [1] was yet in the land [2] and no small plant of the field had yet sprung up—for the Lord God had not caused it to rain on the land, and there was no man to work the ground, 6 and a mist [3] was going up from the land and was watering the whole face of the ground— 7 then the Lord God formed the man of dust from the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living creature. 8 And the Lord God planted a garden in Eden, in the east, and there he put the man whom he had formed.

the two are CONCURRENT as far as I understand with no indicator that 2 happened AFTER 1
