I went Skiing down hill years ago at Hidden Vally Resort i tried going down 1 of the toughest hills and it was my first time skiing but i did ok its really hard at first but you kind of catch on if you got a good balance and go back and forth side ways ,but it was funny thou the first time i went down a hill full blast and almost ran in to people i ended up in the parking lot of the hotal lolllll and slid right to the front door i was lucky there was no cars driving by ,it was a bit of a smaller hill but still really huge you need ski lift to get up top lol i couldnt stop was funny thou someone said to me after near the door did you try to do that i said na first time i been skiing but they said looked great cause went up a curve around 3 feet in the air down the hill and flew in the parking lot and went off course best thing was there was cold beer there and said dam its time to relax that was first day there tell you the truth was scared i was going to run into a car lolllllllll but was lucky:)after that i went down the hills slower haha

yea once when i was younger my mom was dating this one guy and he took us and his kids.
that was the last time i even tried for i felt like i could had broken more than one bone that day

i snowboard couple times a week

i watching begginers yard sales all day

some kid get run over last week by a drunk guy the kid broke his wrist

I live near winterplace ski resort & have never been skiing in my life!!!

I used to years ago and loved it. Although I've wanted to get back into it for a couple years now I haven't had the chance to yet, but
if I don't get to this year, I definately will next year.

I've always wanted to learn to ski/snowboard. This year I was going to spend the $$$ and have professional ski lessons, but then I got a personal trainer. I just wish I had $$$ for both.

ive never skied, but i went snowboarding to fernie, BC and that was awesome!!!!! recomend it to anyone

Is someone talkin about skiing.?? Its one of my hobbies.!!! Me n my friends goes to picono mountains, PA once in a year.! I have been skiing from 4yrs n believe me its the most fun.!! Ya i have some back bracking accidents too., but its not that dangerous.! Once u start skiing, u will never stop..lol

Hummm I live in Texas soooooooooooooo nope have never been. My son got to go to Colorado over Christmas and New Years this year and was able to try the snowboarding for the first time. He messed up went to the bigger slop instead said he fell about 100 times but made it down and was finally able to get going on the snowboard.

I doubt that I will ever go but would love to go to a ski resort town to enjoy the snow and watch others sking...well and maybe go down the baby slop hehehe

No but sledding is fun.

more when young ... but got very tired of the lines on the lifts and how short the runs were here in Southern Ontario so I stopped. Oops ... did someone say once you start you never stop .... guess he is just too young to realize ... never say never.

I do plan to go again since I'v now got 4 pair of skiis and newer boots. But better build up the leg muscles a bit. Used to work on leg strength and stretching by going up stairs 3 at a time and down 2 at a time for a few months before going downhill.

Cross-country can be fun too.

Once...I fell of the lift and I am afraid of heights.

well if you go with friends that know how to ski they can teach you i never been snow boarding i don't think maybe i did years ago on a small hill but i know friends that do:)

well i think its more scary for a lady to ski down hill then a guy:) cause you need a lot of strength in the legs:)and good balance:)

don't be scared always good to try something new go on the trail hills or try cross country ski first :)you will find it fun and when you land in snow bank you kind of laugh cause when i went i saw tons of new people up to shoulders covered in snow they laughed took them forever to get out lollllll i helped a few out:)even thou i was new too but i had the strength :)

its fun with friends and we went out side to a heated swimming pool too there ran in the feezing cold in bathing suits was funny i almost got locked out cause was in pool longer then others pool was really warm and air was cold was cool:)

lolllllllll guess would be fun rolling down the hill with a sweet lady in the arms lots there too at the ski resorts:)

i owned a snow board in the past i think i only used it once and gave it away to friends:) but thats when i was like 15-18 something like that but i hear its cool now cause they have so many new styles and bigger boards cheers

i agree if you learn it its fun at first a lot of people get so fusterated and scared of falling but when you get use to it its really fun its even fun when you fall lollllllll
