  Good morning Carole.  Got just 2.5 inches of snow. The cold is the worse.Early morning temps are -10 with a wind chill of -24.  All schools are closed. The roads are icy.  The side streets best way to get around is Ice skates.  Todays high is going to be -2 so they say. No early morning walk.  Lots of coffee indeed  Every one stay warm and if in this cold stay inside indeed.

We got the cold rainy drizzle and expecting ice. I am wondering if I will be able to get into work, tonight. I would hate to mess up this 13 day week they have planned for me. You know come to think of it a week is only supposed to have 7 days.

Morning again, temps here about 30, very icy and supposed to get rain around lunch time.. Predicting snow 3-6" around 4-5pm ( that will be great for rush hour)! Not going anywhere today...Keep warm my friends out west...and be careful if you have to go out!

Just got back from the store. The wind and cold nearly froze my face. Just walking into the store from the van, and from the store to the van. My face was stinging. The radio said it was -5 with a wind chill of -35. I do believe them. The case of water I got was near froze about the first 2 inches of the bottles. Stay warm everyone.

Good morning mingle friends...Well, yesterday I couldn't get out of my apartment because it was ice everywhere.. We had freezing rain all night and now the temp is 43.. What is going on? the wind is picking up but no power outages yet.. and I have cabin fever already!! Have a safe and warm day everyone...

Good morning mingle friends. Sorry that I haven't been around much lately but I wanted to let you know that here in PA, Punxatawny Phil (groundhog) didn't see his shadow. He proclaims an early spring! Oh, I hope he's right. I'm so ready for the birds & flowers!

Morning everyone!!! Early spring, YEA !! I travel right thru groundhog country when going to my daughters house in PA...Good job Phil!!! Was 43 this morning but falling, already mid 30's, and starting to snow.. Stay warm

Been so cold that some double pane windows have been cracking. Reports on the news of peoples car tires have been froze to the ground. They say the snow plows go by. putting snow up against the tires, with the extreme temps freezing the tires to the road.

morning...it's bitterly cold here, but y'all are having it worse. The whole state of Texas is in a deep freeze. And the elect is going out. Mine has already been out once for a few hours...still kept my water running. Elec is finally back on..Y'all stay warm!
