They say it's going to warm up Friday....if that ever gets here!

Thursday the temps are suppose to be in the 40's that is 45 degrees warmer than it is today. I hope so this cold is not letting walk.

they are calling for colder temps tonight...damn and the state is going to start cutting the elec off for a few hrs at a time...some of us can't take that!
|

The cold here is just blistering cold. The wind does not help much.

As soon as I found out the water was froze up this morning in the pipes I turned the well pump off. I turned the temperature controlled heater off temperature control and on full blast. I went out to the well pump house a while ago and turned the well pump back on. Success. Running water without broken PVC pipe.
 I got the heater back on temperature control.

I was listening to a lot of places closing this morning on the radio. Actually, this has been one of our better winters here so far. The ice storm we had two years ago was a lot worse. Notice I said so far. I sure wouldn't want to tempt fate.

Good morning friends, Cold here(5) but the sun is shinning and hoping it will warm up before I have to go out later this morning..Didn' get any snow accumulation here but lots of ice and alot of people are still without power.. Keep warm everyone!

Indeed way to cold this morning. The wind has been blowing for months, that is not the norm. With the cold temps, and the wind chill factor coldest since 1951.
