I like it when a woman wants to buy me useless crap. Same reason I like to blow money on useless crap for a woman. It aint the fact you are giving or recieving useless crap. It is the fact that someone out there likes you enough to think that you deserve some useless crap. That is sweet! heeeeeeeeeeeeeyyyyyyyyyyy horny boy - it aint useless if it makes ya feel good, (texas men 0 goodness ) Baby...shiatzu underwear make you feel good....flowers are yard clippings.

I want those pink carnation flowers sent to me at my job so all the guys can look at me and go, Awwwwwwww! Suprizingly...the guys at work would gather like a bunch of women when I would get cookie bouquets or ballon bouquets and yes...even flowers. I think its cool. My ex wife did this. She sent me a dozen pink and white carnations with a big * balloon. And all the guys looked at it and said in unison...."Goof. You are gonna get laid so good tonight. Haha!". After that, I requested she send flowers everyday. well nuthin worse than half a story - how'd that go for ya? He had a hot date with his hand and she went out with the florist. (least thats how it worked out for me) And the florist was a chick, so......yeah!**

My presumption is that men ask women out and 'treat her like a lady' because women will never have equal access to the same high power high paying jobs as men. Women continue to make less money in the same positions even today, likely because they are the gender that will leave to raise the children. Its a balancing act. Typically, the 'treat em like a lady' bit comes in when a man wants to select a mother for his children. If the woman accepts that she will sacrifice the ability to have equal earning potential, she will have to ensure respect in her life coming from another venue. That is where the expectations come into play. People who dont want children likely get poo poo-ed in this situation. I disagree with your thinking...this is all about you... what your life was,is and what you chose... for to think this way...for you to think this way is your own fault...you allowed it...sorry for you?..no

Hey! Tampons dont just go and buy themselves now do they? Never in my life has a guy bought tampons ... or held my purse in a store .... Nope, me either. I can't even get a guy to pick me cold medications when I am so sick I can't stand up.

I've known women that did and did not....on both items. Point is, I'm not ashamed to do those things for my gal. The question is, would she be willing to do the same for me? Unfortunately, I don't use a jock strap anymore, or that would have been at the top of the list.

i for one find it nice to be asked out .an dinner is nice but have to admit is wierd not to pay for the meal but have had a woman buy me dinner before it is nice sometimes to be treated good. as for the flowers cant say i would want any flowers lol. although i do like to grow plants i have a big yucca cane an just recently bought a massenga cane .i do enjoy messing with my plants gives me something to do when im bored.

There are some that have expectations to be treated in ways that the relationship doesn't yet constitute BUT if a man asks me out then I don't expect that I will pay nor do I expect to NEED to have a conversation about it.. If I ask a man out then I expect that I will pay and again we will not NEED to have a conversation about it.. I have never ever been on a date where I was expected to pay but I have been on a date where I wanted out of there so badly that I paid and left... Many people think differently these days, so I never expect to have someone pay for me. I always make sure I have money to cover my share. Some men will pay the bill. Some will pay half. I think it's those who expect to have everything paid for them who need to have the conversation beforehand. True that. I guess some women still have "old fashioned" expectations or they don't want to leave their "comfort zone". At this point, one just needs to follow their own prevailing judgement in this case.

i usually pay for the date but if she insist to pay for herself she doesn't really have to twist my arm to hard. if she wants to make the first move i'm fine with that too as long as i'm interested.

I think men can agree... The role reversals we seek, have nothing to do with money. I have no problem paying when I go out because the $100 or 200$ I spend, I can afford. It is my pleasure(for the right person). It doesn't matter if she can out-money me either... Generally -Women earn 80cents per mens dollar...(I'm still in shock) -Everything costs more for women -Often, deadbeat men leave their families... exposing the women to unreasonable financial strain. I wouldn't want her to increase her indebtedness in order to enjoy a night out with me. Good conversation, a nice word or unexpected kind gesture would make me want to do it again and again. I take money completely out of the equation when I date... I think everyone should. And if she opened the car door for me... It would be funny and awkward but I'd know for sure she wanted to do the "bedspring boogie" later.
