Hahaha I live in Texas can't say that I have been through any real bad weather.... beyond a heat wave of above 100 for like 60 days in a row.... beyond that guess I've been really lucky....

Cyclones, bushfires, flooding....right now we are flooded in, second time in a week, and this one seems to be for at least a week, if the tropical low in the Gulf of Carpentaria doesn't deepen into another cyclone.
Chances are this town will be an island more than not for the whole of summer! |

3 eartquakes, and a few cyclones,
the Syclones are the best because you have time to prepare and watching the wind and lightining is Awesome. Hey jess have seen the flooding on the news. We are supposed to be getting a cyclone but havent seen anything yet. |

Have only been in a couple of tornados.
This is mild compared to what Jess & Josie have gone through down under. I also would not want to live down in the southern united States during hurricane season. But here in Ohio it you get to freeze azz off in the winter and sweat your azz off in the summer. We do ocasionally get a mild earthquake tremor here every now and then. |

Hell it's been really bad weather here for 2 weeks. With all the snow storms & my dumbass decided to go out the day after Christmas, needless to say that was a mistake.

Typhoon in Korea in the 80's (96 mph winds) watched a Communications tent get tossed (with all its personnel) from one end of the base to the other and saw a broom handle punch through my steel quonset hut link a bullet.
Lived though a blizzard in Montana. A couple of blizzards in Denver. (Had to use my 4wD to pick up docters and nurses and bring them in to local hopspitals). Got picked up in my car by a tornado in Denver and dragged several feet (I was luck... It picked up an 18 wheeler in front of me and tossed it a mile onto the roof of a Walmart). Got hit by a freak downdraft during a thunderstorm on Lake Mead in Nevada while serving as a Deck Officer on the Desert Princess. (recorde 110mph winds). Watched the marina we were approaching shred into matchsticks |
