what is your plan for the holidays? anyone doing anything special?

Family is all going to Mom and Dad's.....we have to see how long things will go smoothly until Dad starts freaking out. ( Alzheimer's is starting to hit hard.)

i plan on being lonely and extremely bored
then drinking myself into a stupor, which
is not the same as drinking myself into fear's "stoop"
because he would enjoy that too much and hell
i'm not all about spreading that holiday cheer crap!

alzheimers is really hard! will pray for ya all! my mother has the beginning of dementia, breaks my heart!!! i really dont talk much to my family, but im really close with byron's family (my best friend of over 22yrs) so we will be going to the church (so its big enough lol) to have dinner with them as usual, we spend all our holidays together, im extremely close with his family. will be hard this year, we lost keesha, his sister in law. she and i were like sisters. she was only 39 and was struck by a brain aneurism (sp?) and passed immediately. we burried her on her bday on nov 1st. on the bright side, it will be my first thanksgiving with my grandson. he is almost 7 months old now and im completely in love!

well if you were closer, id tell ya to come on and spend it with us!

thanks sweetie! ohhhh he is such a handful and i wouldnt trade it for the world! he is already crawling, standing up and getting into everything, he is tooooo smart! i simply adore him. going to be putting some pics of him on my profile here in a minute

My friend gave my boarder a turkey but my friend and my boarder couldn't lift the turkey out of the deep freeze. So I became the designated turkey lifter. The turkey is sitting on the floor defrosting for Thanksgiving.

Gonna have a small dinner here. Didn't want a big one.Just around 10 of us. Cause I gotta drive 2 hours for getting ready for BLACK FRIDAY!!!!

Going to my sisters who lives in the house I grew up in. Love going there soooo many flashbacks....8>) Hope everyone has a happy and safe one

Hummm actually going to my ex mother in-laws for Thanksgiving since both of my parents are no longer here..... besides she has been a rock for me even though I have been divorced for 20 years every thanksgiving is still spent with her she is more like the mother I never had...and to this day still very close.

I thought I would be smart and just work my regular shift, rather than split the day by going to ex's house where my daughter lives, and my girlfriend's place and then going to work Thurs. night.

Then I got the thought that maybe these people would like me to spend part of their Holiday with them came to me.

I will be putzing around on here and working on my next book....! Same as every other day!

I've been baking rolls for the past five days. Tomorrow, I make my homemade egg noodles, and on Thursday I make the family favorite: Chicken and Noodles over Mashed Potatoes!!

Okay your just not right now you made me hungry.....

I'm the one that's been smelling these rolls and not been able to eat any!! I even made a couple batches to send to a dinner I'm not going to be at!!

Ohhh I would have to sneak a few lmao I mean ya know ya gotta taste test them hehehe
