CT is about to get its first Democratic governor (after 20 years of GOP governors) if the recount also favors Dan Malloy.

I'm happy that Nevada stayed with the Republican's. Harry Reid's son would be "No Bueno" for Governor. He lost big time. I know that if Sue Lowden or any other Republican candidate would have won in the primaries Harry Reid would be packing his moving boxes right now.

Hell, Rory even looks like a pedophile too. Everytime I see him on tv im just waiting for Chris Hansen to pop out and introduce himself.

Not to mention Republican's now have the majority of the Governorships and state legislatures across the country!

I don't know the exact number for Governor's, but I know it's over 30!

House +60 (10 are still undecided)
Senate +6 (2 are still undecided)
Governor +9 (5 are still undecided)

I'm not surprised Sharon Angle lost. Luckily, not everyone is ready for the more extremist tea partiers.

I knew the day she won the primaries we were doomed. All's I could do was hope for the best and brace for the worst and on Tuesday the worst happened.

Now, in two years when the recession is still not over, we can go back to the Democrats because the Repubs will have failed too.

Recessions take years to resolve.

This change will do nothing to help the unemployment rate or anything.

Silly Americans.

I am glad I am Unaffiliated so I don't have to answer to either side.

I guess friends do the unfriendly thing and let their friends vote Republican, huh?slaphead  laugh

Progress to what?

If the government shuts down on spending this country will fall into a depression. So that won't happen.

I and others are working hard to make sure that healthcare is not repealed. So that won't happen.

The Senate is still Democrat so the house can be shut down easily.

So what we have now is a lame duck congress that won't be able to do anything and the American people are going to be pissed at the next election too so we will have Dems back then.

All the Dems have to do is be the party of no like the Repubs did and they will win next time, right?

Kinda nice, though, they set it up so that Obama should be favored in 2012

I will have to come back to this one. I need to go lay down for a bit. I came down with something Monday night and I feel like crap. That's why I haven't been posting much or replying to much.

I think I got bit by a Brown Recluse. My head is swollen and puffed and hurts like hell up in an area, like a spider bite does. I have a temp of 102 and cant keep anything in or down. Not to mention I have it like 90 degrees in here and im stilll freezing. Asprin doesn't seem to bring the temp down either. sad2

It would make sense since we live on two acres and I was putting last minute campaign signs up on our barn and fences this weekend so I could have been bit.

If you were bit by a brown recluse ya need to RUN to the doctor. The venom from that spider does irreversible damage to tissue.
