What does one do when our President participates in the same political LIES as all the rest of the politicians?

I give a single case in point.

When being protested by aids activists he stated that 'his side' was giving money and the 'other side' did not...

Ask anyone in Africa how much help GWB gave in the fight against aids and you will get a much different answer.

Not only that but the 'help' in that department is from the government... (last time I checked that was made of both sides).

Not act like you're surprised....

The same thing everyone else does...***** about it on an internet forum.

Or vote someone else in next election, not that it will matter worth a **** but it is at least worth a try I guess. You could try that utterly useless method of writing congress, or the even more useless method of writing the president. Of course, both of those options are probably a lot better than bitching about it on the internet.

I guess on one level it depends on what they're lying about. If one guy knowingly lies about getting a blow job, apparently that's grounds for an impeachment hearing. If another guy knowingly lies to start a trillion-dollar war that gets thousands of American citizens killed for no good reason - apparently that's OK.

I agree.That statement was either extremely arrogant or very stupid or both.Bush gave more to fight Aids than any president in history.That statement was uncalled for and was slap in the face to Africa.

AIDS, Mission Accomplished, I did not have sex with that woman, Read my lips...no new taxes, It is not American policy to influence the democratic process (in Venezuela), Bay of Pigs, Project Northwoods, Gulf of Tonkin, I will not send American boys over...to do what Vietnamese boys ought to be doing for themselves, Project Paperclip, Project Bluebook, The Maine, The Bismarck, The Lithuania, war profiteering & Standard Oil / Prescott Scott (Bush), and on and on... sorry I could only go back 80 some years but I fairly certain Obama wasn't responsible for all of it.

Grab a history book, a dictionary, and some mental floss. Go do your homework and spend more time reading and less time perpetuating echo chamber ignorance. Gore Vidal and Noam Chomsky come to mind.

A guy dies and goes to heaven. It's a slow day for St. Peter, so upon passing the entrance test, St. Peter says "I'm not very busy today. Why don't you let me show you around?"

i guess it also depends on ones definition of what a "no good reason is"... since congress and the senate both had to back him up on it, and the 60 other nations that was with him on it might have thought there was a good reason....

I agree, even if many of those nations had no military to 'back us up' with,,lol
