I wouldn't be surprised if they even lost some ratings from spoiling it.

Well, damn. I've been good about not following things about the show and being surprised. I shouldn't have read this thread today.

I'm gonna be honest... I did not care for the amount of bodies we saw dropping left and right in this episode. I felt like they just went for shock factor and it overpowered the story line a little bit.

I actually thought the episode was pretty good and was happy that it wasn't what I thought.

I agree that it was for the shock factor but it did keep me on edge through out the whole episode. Someone was suppose to die and it kept me wondering who. I'm glad no one did die though.

It has just been announced that Jeanne Tripplehorn joins the cast of Criminal Minds to replace pagent Brewster. She has signed for all of season 8 as well as all the other cast members including Gubler!

Because she announced in Feb\March that she would be leaving the show after the final episode of the season.

Actually the ratings for the final two episodes spiked from 10 million viewers to almost 14 million per episode.

Just spent the day catching up on all of the Criminal Minds episodes I missed and got through like 7 of them. They were ALL awesome, all though I wish there would be more on Prentiss's exit, maybe the first episode of the next season will explain? I sure as hell hope so!

I will tell you I am dissapointed they didn't leave a cliff hanger and the final episode was WEAK.

Criminal Minds returns to CBS next month for its eighth season, and while the BAU team will be a bit different with the addition of Jeanne Tripplehorn's Alex Blake and Paget Brewster's Emily Prentiss gone, they'll still be going after serial killers. According to TVLine, Ray Wise is going to be guest starring in episode 4, "God Complex," as "a doctor who's operating on patients against their will." Now that's creepy, but what else would you expect from this show? Even though it is in its eighth season, it still manages to find new ways to have its unsubs kill their victims.

This Criminal Minds season 8 episode sounds like one to look forward to, especially with Ray Wise as the unsub. He can play the bad guy pretty well, and this role shouldn't be a problem. The creepier episodes of the show are not only those that have the more disturbing kills, but also the ones that make you stop and wonder about the unsub. For example, in "God Complex," it's a doctor. A doctor is someone you go to for help, not someone who's going to be using his knowledge to hurt you. Will Wise's character use that trust that comes with his profession to his advantage to lure in his victims?

The program started out having a story line and developed characters then it has just gotten gross and vulgar and more like watching a slaughter. It is like it is more about soundbites than a program,

I don't see how you can think that? This is the best show on television!

My mom won't watch it either because it is too graphic for her but i don't understand why .... they don't show the murders or tortures in detail. It always changes scenes just when you think they'll show the worst. That's the only reason i continue to watch it.

It's not that graphic to me. It just deals with serious subject matter and most episodes are based on a real life case in one way or the other. Maybe it's the subject matter that get's to your mom. I find each episode addicting all though I wish they would go into the Agents personal lives.

I am extremly excited for this next season and it starts in less then 20 days now! Have you seen a trailer for the season premeire yet? I wish when they do a premiere episode that they are two hour long episodes.

I would also like to see them do a crossover with NCIS Could you imagine how cool that would be with two of the highest rated shows on TV. They are both CBS shows and we all saw the high rating when NCIS: Los Angeles and Hawaii 50 crossed over.

I would love for them to delve more into the agents personal lives. Especially Reid. Hes my favorite. Hes a genius that seems to have this sense of innocence about him, despite his career.

That started our doing that in the first few seasons, then they got away from that which I think is a shame. I think with Prentiss gone they should get rid of Blake and fill the void by going into the personal lives.

I think they are going to with Reid because of this mysterious woman he keep talking to. I have a hunch she is going to play a part in the season long plot of someone going after the team (A reappearing Unsub) that was hinted at in the first episode.

I also read that in an upcoming episode someone from Rossi's past will be coming back and all this stuff with Hotch dating again and JJ's son Henry. I think they are starting to go back to the personal lives.
