Ok, it's no secret that I am not big on tv and there are only two shows I even like at all. Criminal Minds and Law and Order SVU. I just read that they are cutting two cast members next season! J.J.'s last episode is the second episode of this season!   
I also read that Prentess is not going to be in many episodes or parts of this next season either, and that this will be her last season with the show. Personally I never thought she was a good fit, but I'm pissed because it's not a good sign when they cut two major cast members. They also are reducing the number of episodes for next season by one or two, and that makes no sense. They just started a spin off and are launching a video game in December........ Does anyone watch the show? Anyone think it might be coming to an end soon? You will have to revive me if so! I am hoping they will pull through, get rid of Prentess but keep J.J. and quit messing things up. Also the actress that plays Prentess said he contract is being cut for financial reasons. I don't understand, they are pulling between 12 and 16 million viewers per episode, which is a lot when you consider that Law and Order SVU, which is the top rated show for the station it's on only pulls 9 million viewers per episode. Hell the O.C. had 4 to 6 million viewers and they kept it going for four seasons. I am gonna call CBS tomorrow and beg that they keep J.J. So I am just super pissed and super sad. 
There's my rant! I loved JJ! And yes they took her out. Sent her to the white house or something. She did make a showing when Prentiss got shot. I am hoping both will end up coming back in one way or another in the future. I "will not" believe they will take that show off!

Personally I never cared for Prentiss, I wish Elle and Gideon would come back. Prentiss grew on me. Gideon was another one I hated to see go. That's when I almost stopped watching the show...but I got over my snit and am still trying to like the guy who replaced him. |

The cast works well together. I never realized that Hotch was "Greg" in "Darmah and Greg"  Totally different personality in there. He actually smiles!

Hey now, Hotch does smile on rare occasion and yes I am obsessed with Rossi he flamboyant, a playboy and a legend in his field, kinda like me!  J/K
I loved Dharma and Greg. He was also the bad guy in the second major Flintstones movie. I would love to see Criminal Minds and NCIS cross over. It could be done since they are both CBS owned. |

Criminal Minds has yet to be renewed for its seventh season (and there's no doubt it will be), but that doesn't mean they're not working on making sure all their regulars will be back for more cases to profile.

According to Deadline, Shemar Moore, who plays Derek Morgan, who is usually the one to kick down a door if that's needed, has signed on for next season and "he will be doubling his salary to about $100,000 an episode, up from just north $50,000 per episode under his old agreement." Thomas Gibson now remains the only current series regular who hasn't signed a contract for season 7 yet. Paget Brewster could be returning, depending on what happens with My Life As an Experiment, a comedy pilot over at NBC. Last month, AJ Cook signed back on as a series regular for the next two seasons. She will also be back in the Criminal Minds season finale this year to set up that return. She was last seen in "Lauren," which may or may not have been the last episode with Prentiss. Joe Mantegna, Matthew Gray Gubler, and Kirsten Vangsness were all already signed on for season 7, and if Gibson and Brewster return as well, they will have the same team they began the season with (if the possible shake-ups for the BAU take new series regular Rachel Nichols' Ashley Seaver away from the team). And they left a plot unfinished with the Unsub she was hiding from getting away. If she doesn't come back they need to close that out and capture or kill him off.......... I think it all depends on how her new show goes, if it takes off or not. I wish they'd just bring back Elle. |

Suspect Behavior was officially cancelled last night! That means after this season there will be no more!

It's official, they are bringing Prestiss back at the beginning of Season 7!
With the news that Paget Brewster will be returning for season 7 of Criminal Minds, fans are rejoicing. However, there's no doubt that when Emily Prentiss rejoins her BAU family (because that's what these agents are to one another—family), things won't be the same. Prentiss' return to the BAU Erica Messer talked to TVGuide about what to expect when season 7 picks up, and Paget Brewster returns. Messer did say that there will, of course, be changes: "Absolutely. No one goes into hiding and comes out unscathed. She has been in defensive mode for months now. She'll be exhausted and will have to face the family to explain a few things." Though Prentiss has been underground in Europe with the IDs that JJ gave her at the end of Criminal Minds season 6 episode, "Lauren," that doesn't mean she hasn't had to watch her back. Doyle is still out there, and if he thought for one moment that she was still alive, that would spell quite some trouble for her. It'll be interesting to see how the writers figure out how to bring her back to the BAU safely so she can once again be a profiler and with her team. Of course, first, everyone besides Hotch and JJ needs to be told that Prentiss is still alive, and though "there will be a lot of tension," Messer did say that "ultimately, those kept in the dark will forgive the others when they find out Prentiss is alive." There's no doubt that everyone will be relieved to hear they didn't really lose one of their own, but they will have spent quite some time grieving. However, since they were lied to in order to ensure Prentiss' safety, there's no surprise that it sounds like they won't hold grudges. Messer also talked about the fans' love for the show, its characters, and the actors who play them: "Our fans are some of the most loyal I've ever known. And they're not shy. Their love for our show and investment in the characters is beyond encouraging. If their enthusiasm helped everyone see how important the unity of our team is, fantastic." The BAU is a tight-knit team, and it was Prentiss' desire to keep her family safe that led to her leaving them behind to go after Doyle on her own. Criminal Minds fans were not quiet whatsoever last summer when it was revealed that AJ Cook would not be coming back and Paget Brewster would be in a reduced number of episodes; they took to the Internet for an online petition to save the two actresses, and some even said they would quit watching the series. Now the series will be returning for season 7 with the team back to how it should be.  The whole cast has signed back on except for Thomas Gibson. They can't reach a deal, Hotch might not be back next season!
Also they didn't renew Rachel Nichols contract as a main character for next season. I wish they would of, I love to see new blood and I think the team would be awesome with her, Prentiss and JJ all there. |

Thomas Gibson who plays Special Agent Aaron "Hotch" Hotchner on Criminal Minds, says he isn't sure if he'll be returning to the show in the fall.
"We're working toward Agent Hotchner being back," Gibson told Hollywood 411 at the Monte Carlo Television Festival, in an interview to air Sunday.
