Hey Torgo!  I have a problem with the movie "The Day The Earth Stood Still" the recent one-not the classic.... I know it's not horror- but you want to know what my problem is? after the Keanu Reeves character (Klaatu) is with the girl and her kid and is on the run from the government ,,,,and the city is in a panic with everyone fleeing.looting ,, fires etc...they stop at a McDonalds where Klaatu speaks to fellow alien(the Chinese dude). Everyone in the McDoanlds is calmly enjoying their big macs and happy meals,,etc.... ( Uhhhh...if aliens landed and all that chaos was happening- there's something I would do-head down to Mickey D's...........) am I crazy?  Holly Hahahahaha you're not crazy, I noticed that too! It reminds me of Independence Day when all of the alien ships are surrounding the cities and Will Smith's wife goes to work at the strip club, and I think she even comments on it being empty...uh, hello? Alien spaceships have come to earth, and you're going to strip? Wouldn't you rather be with your son? Sorry, but it is one of the rare times where guys aren't wanting to look at naked women.  oh yeah I remember that part! It's just as insane! I'm gonna let you know when I find some more story line errors!  Cool

You Can Now See 'Giallo'! How Lucky Are You?!
How excited are you guys to learn that you can now see Dario Argento's absolute disaster of a film, Giallo, his latest thriller blocked from release when star Adrien Brody opened a lawsuit claiming he was lied to. Brody, who in November got a federal judge to block the release of the thriller after the court found he was owed $640,000, has reached a settlement with the film's backers. Three Seven Entertainment, Giallo Productions and Hannibal Pictures can now see the film get a DVD release from its U.S. distributor, Maya Entertainment, reports Deadline. Brody plays an FBI agent hunting a serial killer in Italy, and objected to his face being used on the DVD release and the film was stuck in limbo until he was paid. Go forth and enjoy! I visited this one and found something interesting. I watched the movie trailer of Deadheads which was featured in that site and I found it funny. Comedy in a zombie's perspective. Two zombie friends, to be exact. lol. "DEADHEADS is a “zombedy” that is sure to impress–pleasing both horror and action-adventure fans alike. Yup, you heard it first. Horror, meets comedy, meets action adventure! DEADHEADS is a return to the great comedy/adventure films of the 80′s like “Back to the Future” and the “Goonies”. The story follows two zombie slackers, Mike and Brent, who find themselves surprisingly reborn from the dead amid a disastrous zombie outbreak. After discovering an engagement ring in his coat pocket, Mike enlists his new found zombie pal, Brent, to embark on a quest in search of his lost love. What ensues is a hilarious cross country road trip as these two reformed flesh-eating pals hitchhike cross country as they are pursued by a team of zombie killin’ bounty hunters!" |
