When times were the hardest, the closer we got. Wee held each other up, not do what they are

My new room project is proceeding with a lot of head scratching and pondering. It so much easier using the power pack screwdriver than the hammer on the high parts. It is hard enough to balance one's self on a ladder and holding the screw with one hand and the power screwdriver with the other. I was going to hold the board, too but realized, "Hey, I am running out of hands."
 The head scratching didn't become as itchy as it was until I was trying to tie into the rafters of the old house as the rafters there had no rhyme or reason. One rafter might be two foot apart and the next rafter sixteen inches apart. I am really scratching my head now because where the new room is lower than the old house I have to have a lower indenture to account for the downward slope from the old house to the new room. I was planning to keep it all eight foot high but decided to just go seven feet or the height of the door going from the old house to the new room. I think I will just put a sign there like on school buses that says watch your head. I was talking to my cousin-in-law and he is giving me a door. He remodels old houses and saves some of the good stuff. He is selling me a sink he got out of an old house and said he would save back stuff for my room as he got them. I am thinking of letting him switch the door and window of the old house. I am going to block off the extra door on the front that looks dumb anyways and put that door between the old house and new room. Then I am going to take the window out that is between the old house and new room and use that window on the back of my room. The project reminds me of that nursery rhyme of the house that Jack built. There a crooked man who built a crooked house.
