For myself

because when I fall in love, I fall hard and worship the ground they walk on...then they stomp on my face.

I'm staying single till someone worships me for a change.

I feel ya, Shayna. I'm still an old fashioned gal in a lot of ways and although I don't worship the ground they walk on, I somehow end up spoiling them rotten and after a while, anyone would take that kind of attention for granted ...

I'm learning, though and I haven't given up hope. I know there must be some nice one-woman men out there from my generation; someone who knows my favorite color (or even what color my eyes are) and other details that's more than a friend.

Or am I just a hopeless dreamer?

I don't know. I'm really a nice person. Anybody out there want me?

It will sound stupid, but that is the way it is.I am single because, i have career issue and that was caused by anxiety which i had for many years before.So because of the career issue,i never searched for a gf.There are many people who have anxiety and for some,anxiety stays with them forever no matter what medications they take.That is sad...

I could blame being single on alot of things. . .The fact that im over weight and most guys dont like BIG women. That my kids have to many issues for another person to want to deal with. But the truth is im really good at pushing people away or keeping the relationship superficial because I dont want to get hurt again. So im single because I choose to be.

there is a certain standard and value system that is mandatory for my potential partner to have,, and its hard to find
