which reminds me....

Do 27 loads of washing, then change the blades on the lawnmower.

Clean the kitchen, and sand the walls of Ry's room.

Weed the gardens and then shovel fill into trenches...(backfill)

I wanna be androgynous..surprised

I wouldn't have considered him masculine either.

More of a 'he-whore' or 'mo'

but, that's another conversation

not really "another" one

I DON'T consider polygamy (SP?) OR philandering (SP AGAIN?) very masculine traits.....much the opposite.

...and YES...I was a HeWhore......."before I grew up"

I don't feel those 2 'activities' you mentioned are masculine either.
Though I think those who indulge, probably feel they are quite masculine.

Glad that all men don't feel that the ability to have sex makes them a man... other wise none would have grown up and out of 'he-whoreism'.

I just made that word up laugh

Nothing wrong with having 'needs' and absolutely nothing wrong with
multiples...

A thin line for 'some' men to distinguish what is manly-ness. in the sex area.

This topic came up in an earlier thread and made me wonder.
Of course it always comes down to preference...
Gentlemen, what is "feminine" to you?
Ladies, what do you consider "masculine"?

Feminine....nurturing, supportive, keeper of the spiritual realm and emotional honesty.

Masculine....protector, competant, confident, assertive and keeper of the material realm.

I like what Jess said here..for the most part.

I think the 'spiritual' comes more naturally for females..or should. Men are quite capable of experiencing the spiritual realm, sometimes feel like they maybe have to 'work' harder at it.

Since I have raised boys alone I was, am all the masculine traits she listed also. Now that they are 'grown up'...I see the protector side of them coming through. Particularly with me, and is a good feeling.

Now I am struggling to balance the two roles as I have done ALL and been both for so long.. it hasn't happened as easily as I thought it would. Still hanging on to all the 'hats' I have worn.

Masculine - John Wayne

Feminine - Anyone that enjoys shopping, sappy movies and is afraid of small rodents......

And if she's not afraid of small rodents?

I know more guys scared of rodents and snakes then gals. My brother and dad come squawking to me to get the rat snakes, and the bigger they are, the louder they holler. A neighbor gal came to my ex one time to have him pick up a foot long, pissed off python baby she had just fed in the tub. He came and got me to get it. So, am I to masculine?!
