Yes Jesus didn't speak in parables to his disciples, but he used metaphors to explain things.

Cowboy...Jesus said that he spoke in parables/metaphors to those that wouldn't understand because he didn't want them to understand....to claim that he also spoke to the disciples in this fashion you're making Jesus out to be some type of pathological liar ...did he also use metaphors parable and half-truths when he spoke to God ...

So you're saying when someone says "There's a part of you in everything i do," they are cannibalistic?

when that someone tells you that the part in you is their flesh ...then yes...it's cannibalism

Cannibalism is an action. How can a statement in a metaphor form have anything to do with cannibalism?

Cowboy...we already settle this...the passage you provided prove that Jesus did not speak to his disciples in parables...which means he spoke in truth about them eating his flesh and blood ...face the truth..you're a vampire ...with a touch of zombie

We settled nothing. Settling something would be when two sides come to an agreement. Yes Jesus didn't speak in parables to his disciples, but he used metaphors to explain things.

why you change from using the term parables to using the word metaphors ....but anyway Jesus spoke to the masses in parables/metaphors because he felt that they were idiots and he was not oging to reveal to the masses the same things that he reveal to his disciples which is why he spoke to them in truth pertaining to cannibal and Vampirism...

No funches, here's a couple examples of why your statement is wrong.

1. I tell someone it's really cold outside - means it's pretty darn cold outside
2. I tell someone it's like a freezer outside - means it's pretty darn cold outside
3. If i tell someone it's like ice cycles outside - means it's pretty darn cold outside.

3 different ways to say the same thing, 2 are metaphors and one is not, but they mean the same thing.

I changed it to metaphors instead of parables because they are a little different. Metaphor would be a simple short kind of answere. A parable is alot deeper and more in detail.

Cowboy....it's funny how you stop referring to the bible when you get in hot water.....if Jesus didn't use those examples of yours...then why are you using them...stick to the things that Jesus said to the disciples not phrases you learned in English Class 101

Because a parable is more then just how Jesus told things. So i gave you a couple examples of different parables that ment the exact same thing as the first to show that even through using parables, it doesn't change the meaning of it nor make it a lie.

since it's the bible that states that Jesus spoke in parables....then let's stick with parables

Ok, now I know you're delusional. Nothing is NOTHING, explain how it's something. LOL!!!

I can't wait to see you run around in circles trying to explain how nothing is something...

Ok then lets change that to 3 different ways of saying it, 2 are parables and 1 is straight up. THEY ALL 3 MEAN THE SAME. Nothing lost, nothing gained, exactly similar.

There was no before God. God is the alpha and the omega, the beginning and the end.

Money was what was in reference. If someone would have asked if i had something in my pocket, i would check. And if there wasn't, then i would still nevertheless have NOTHING in my pocket.

funchees, answer my question. Your games are childish and delusional. Either deny you said Christianity was paganism or support your own statements. You do read what you type, don't you?

Revelations 22:13
I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.

So obviously if God is the beginning nothing was before God. Because nothing can come before the beginning.
