In my opinion no it is never okay, how insensitive can a person be? And even worse if you do not take the time or respect to protect your partner. I actually find it a very selfish neandrathal thing to do.

It's an interesting point to be fair but not the right thing to do after a fight. I am going to be honest I went and got drunk after a fight and cheated. Don't get me wrong I am disgusted with myself for doin it because it solves no problems what so ever. U live and learn from ur mistakes but if u fight then u need to talk it out or break it off. Cheating is not the answer trust me.

Common problem? No...cheating is a lot like stabbing people in the back, you might as well use the extra energy and go for the front. If you are that miserable that you are even thinking of cheating it is time to reevaluate the plan.

A nobody has to know basis..? common, really? have you conducted a survey or are you trying to make yourself feel better... it's a question of your own character an morality.. if you want to hit everything in sight, just be up front and honest with your partners... you can have morals and good character and have casual sex - as long as it is conveyed honestly, frankly and up front. the problem only happens when you betray yourself and pursue a relationship with someone - say you want a monogamous relationship - when you know in your heart you only want to hit and run... be honest, be a man... convey your needs and adhere to your limits... there is nothing wrong with casual sex as long as it is honest, safe and what both parties want... get my drift? p.s. "especially for men"... uhm, you have a LOT to learn about women!! ROFLMAO!!!! se ya... playa...! $.02
