It's Sunday here. Headed to church with the fam then back for BBQ with a soldier that is leaving today for training in FLA. Undercover signal translation or some such TMI job. Think we'll cook steaks. He might bring shrimp. "Let's put another shrimp on the barby" (anyone know what movie THAT comes from ) My son does the PERFECT impersonation .. cracks me up!

Just sat in front of the fan all day in shorts and wifebeater! The humidity has been sooooo bad I want the sky to explode with rain already!!!!

Sooooooo Ruth you do a lot of cooking on Sunday for the week. I've never been one to do that so just wondering if I freeze Mexican food enchiladas, rice and beans and put it in the freezer air tight bags they have how long will it be good for? Hummmmmm my son has been living with me and well since he has this new gf he is staying with her for the the last few weeks and not here when I cook too much....Well yesterday I cooked Mexican food and now have all these left overs don't want to throw them away and already ate them again today.. Ya know what I mean lol...

Feeling so useless today almost 3 months laid off money is doing OK but I HATE not having a job, its very depressing!!

Hummm that is where most mess up make the best of it you can still do things or go places. When you feel that way go out and treat yourself go out to eat or go see a movie.... take the dog to the park to play....... Don't let it get to you......life can still be good regardless ......

Ya know what I mean lol... Oh yeah you can freeze almost anything and its a great way to save leftovers. I usually just make enough for the week and I take my lunch to work so I don't freeze much. But anything I have ever needed to save longer than 5 days has frozen just fine and is good for months in there.
