Well that's better for sure. At least pulling a paycheck! I've been out of the corporate world for 18 mos and still on unemployment. They just told me after an hour wait on the phone I will get at least 1 extra month. WOOT!!!!

Christi I just did weeding of the planter and lawn, and planted more sunflower seeds. I watered the front, am watering the back and look out the window to see SNOWFLAKES????? WTH. HOW can they even form in 50 degree weather??? Is this a cruel trick?

Hummm that is good news for me been out of work for a year now so heck I should still have some time left on unemployment as well... Hopefully something will come my way soon as well as for you too.... Okay off to see if I can get the weed eater started so I can finish what I'm going to do in the yard today...... Shhs suppose to be 79 here today.....snowflakes this time of the year

I know so many people who got laid off from where I work and still can't find a job. The layoffs were over a year ago. And it looks like we will have another round of them coming up. Scary stuff.

It IS scary stuff. I had a premo job for 12 yrs. Honestly didn't think they'd ever cut my position. Sigh. It is what it is eh? I do have faith God has a perfect job for me. Using my unique skill set and ability to work with high-profile entertainers. I'm willing to wait it out =)

It IS scary stuff. I had a premo job for 12 yrs. Honestly didn't think they'd ever cut my position. Sigh. It is what it is eh? I do have faith God has a perfect job for me. Using my unique skill set and ability to work with high-profile entertainers. I'm willing to wait it out =) You have a great attitude. I'm sure the perfect job will come in time.

Hey I hear ya was at my last job for 12 years as well never thought he would really consider shutting the doors. But......he did but then I would have too if I had 25 acres and getting paid for mineral rights on gas as well as a natural spring under it that the gas company was paying me for water they needed that did not cost me a thing.... And as far as being out of work heck the way I see it make the best of it no use in getting all depressed sure unemployment is not what I was making but........ya learn to manage your money and budget real well... Actually have been able to do things I did not have time for before... Well I fought with the weed eater and won for now got it done...But....think it got me in the end for it started smoking and leaking gas from somewhere sshshshsh what can I expect it has worked for over 15 years think I may have to chum off and buy a new one finally.....

Oh trust me on this one. I, in NO way, am complaining. I have LOVED the break. It's been awesome.!!! But alas, the $$ does run out, and then it's time to get serious about working. Your right it is great I have gotten to spend a lot more time with my granddaughter as well. Plus heck took a cruise this last Sept with 22 family members. This is the first time in my life I have been out of work.....I will finally get something else but heck now I have to admit I've actually enjoyed this time off... Just glad I had paid off all my credit cards prior so I can enjoy the time off.....

My daughter has school off tomorrow and we hope to go to the Museum ... We've annual membership and we go often and love it ... Sadly, today is fairly task, list, career oriented ... All of which is good and great, but I'd rather do a Huck Finn and be down at the river on our raft ... ... And ... A sailing we go, yo~ho~ho ... ... Just being ... Being grateful and content ... Edit ... Ga! ... I can't type ...

tonight is about over, I babysat my neices and my nephew. I drove my sister to the store, paid some bills, and looking forward to a stress free relaxing day tomorrow.
