Well I don't know what Food Inc is but I watched Dr. Oz yesterday. Got some great food tips for skin & health.

You should read "The Jungle" by Upton Sinclair. It's about the meat packing industry in late 1800's early 20th century America. It's what started the FDA. Interesting book.....

Tell ya one thing. Even though they are 3 x's the price, I've been buying cage free eggs just because the industry is so despicable. They may "just be chickens" but God's sake (literally) we are put in charge, perse, of animals on this earth. It's only right we be integral caretakers, not turn our heads to the horrible practices ..

One of the farmers interviewed in the movie says he has people come up to him and say "Three dollars for a dozen eggs???" He says they complain about the price of his cage free eggs while they are holding a .75 cent can of soda. People will pay $2 for a cup of coffee but won't take that same $2 and add it to their healthy food budget and buy local, organic food.

LOL .. ya girl, but it seems no one wants to BEGIN their chapter in the morning. I pull it up and they shut it down .. The negative threads, or sex-related, or just pure nothing babble always seem to be the ones posted on. No biggie. I don't take it personally. It is what it is yanno?

Heck girl I sleep in this morning No kids to get off to school no lunches to make but my own and the dogs... Not sure what I'm going to do yet today need to finish the laundry which is only one load in the dryer and one in the washer then put up and they will be through. Hummm need to vacuum today... and do a bit of research on some jobs to see what might be out there. But your right some seem to dwell on the negative more then the positive too much
