Women lie, people lie, no one is perfect. Part of a strong relationship is to be honest even if it's not the popular thing to say.

how can we tell? It pretty easy to tell, all you have to do is really listen to them. It's not rocket surgery. |

Nope you can't, we all lie and you all fall for it... We're just that good. Actually, statistically, you're absolutely right |

Nope you can't, we all lie and you all fall for it... We're just that good. Actually, statistically, you're absolutely right Oh please, let's not go there.. It's no more correct "statistically" than men lying and cheating on women... I can't stand when people lump "all/most" into one b/c it's convenient... Let's let humans take responsibility for their actions and not blame it one a gender as a majority... It's time to grow up! |

oh please...I'm not a good liar at all. You can see it in my eyes. Not to mention, I think lying is a cowards way out

It's no more correct "statistically" than men lying and cheating on women... You're right, it is time for cheaters to grow up, and now it's time to face the music. In study after study in the last ten years more women have been found to cheat then men. Seems you don't agree with your own statement, but the studies sure do |

how can we tell? In treatment some of had to take honesty in baby steps. First, we had to find out if we could even be honest with ourselves. Some of us had lied even to ourselves so much that we had trouble discerning truth. At times, even when it was easier to tell the truth we would lie. Lying can become a way of life. One of my favorite quotes is from William Shakesphere, "To thine ownself be true." For me, it was my first step back into sanity. If one can be honest with one's self then the next step is to see if one can be honest with one's higher power. If one can attain that then the next step is to see if one can become honest with another person. Just my two cents. |

The funny thing is people that lie to themselves do better in life than those that don't. Here's a link to a story about on NPR's Radio Lab.

not original to me (but I forget the source)..
Character = honesty with self... Integrity = honesty with others... Yes, I do believe there are women (and men for that matter) out there that have both good character, and good integrity... $.02 |
