Some people just don't have an interest in the forums, or the time. I have a friend on here that never posts ..I know he lurks cause he tells me he sees my jokes. It's not for everybody.

Maybe in reality they don't really want to get noticed.
Or they just don't have anything to say. Or they are afraid the grammar police will find them. |

I know it's not for everyone, and when I first joined this site. I was the same way for the first couple weeks. Then I got brave

i mostly post in threads that were typed by someone else. i have posted topics but the one page or no responses got old after awhile.
i'll post a topic here and there but i usually just respond to others post

I'm heavily absorbed in self-counseling for habitual posting.It's attributed to that pesky battle of the left & right hemisphere & all that.

I was just looking at this thread, and it has 40 vews already and I'm sure it will get a lot more. it's not the people that use other things for pic's. it's the ones that we don't know who they are. It makes me wonder how many people actually hang around the fourm, but never let anyone know there here.
One of my post has over 200 views and I know there are not that many that post on the forum. It would be nice to see more people joine the forum. |

It could be that they are shy and having trouble relating with others.

If I read a post, and my comment has already been stated by
someone else, I move on. I will post if someone ELSE said something pertinent/humorous to lend support of their thoughts. But posting just to post... Not so much :-) Ahhhh. But I do read everything. That is what keeps your posting# high :-) |

Actually there are many members that never post within the forums and choose not to. They are here only for one thing and that is to meet others and not to make friends within the forums.
Actually have been talking to one that e-mailed me here over a month ago and he has never posted within the forums and due to his job does not have the time to as well. Which is kewl with me for we have had plenty of time to get to know each other on the phone instead as friends.

But posting just to post... Not so much :-) Ahhhh. But I do read everything. That is what keeps your posting# high :-) I'm the same way. If it has been said already and after a couple pages. Most likely it has been said. Some post though, I wont post in because it might be that I have never been in the situation. Or it's just not something i'm interested in. |

I just brought this up because some threads I have posted have been viewed over 200 times within a couple days. And I was like, hm, wonder how many people hang out on the thread like I stated before. Lots of people will post on the new meembers forum, but maybe out of 10 people 2 might stick around. |

when i first started posting in the forums when it was justsayhi, this place was nonstop hardcore posting action,then when it switched to M2 it still was rather busy but lately it has just came down to a few regulars...i just can't explain it

I haven't had as much time to even read the forums lately, much less post... but I do enjoy it. I wonder how many are like me, and sometimes have a lot of posts and then go dormant awhile?
