Topic: Why do women act like all men are dogs? | |

Truth is that we should not let individual experiences hinder us from meeting the exceptional..

how about 3 in a row?

BUT, here is something to think about....aren't you doing the same assuming all women do this? I treat people like individuals. I have learned from the past and hopefully I am more aware of the future.

maybe bad choices on your part (no offense), or maybe you need to remove yourself from your typical social atmosphere..:)

Well, it's not a one-way street.
Speaking from a male perspective, it's pretty much incomprehensible for me to even consider the possibility that I could meet someone radically different (i.e., compatible) from the last several dozen.... I try not to overgeneralize but it's become difficult, since I can now actually predict the exact day when they will start trying to change me....! |

I prefer to call them frogs lol its because I met so many of them I am loosing hope that there is a real caring honest man out there.

I said "women" which was a generalization not encompassing every female thought, but that is the basic stance by most women

I have learned from the past and hopefully I am more aware of the future. But....how many times do you see someone here ask for advice, and the knee jerk reaction is to say " DUMP EM!!! "..or " Kick em to the curb "...or " Run away and don't look back ". I have been here for a couple of years now and I could probably count on one hand the number of times I have seen a woman, any woman, step forward and say " Hey wait a second here...maybe the guy is actually....." Whether people want to accept it or not, past occurrences play a BIG part in our perceptions of the opposite sex. The vast majority of the time, the worst is assumed. |

But don't you find that most other men that you speak to are more trusting of women in contrast to a typical women's perspective?

Yep, we let the past destroy us, sad but true. The trick is to get over it before trying to involve others. |

I see both men and women hold onto the past and bring that to the next relationships.....whether in a good way or a bad way

Not all woman say this, and not all men are dogs.Believe me I had to kiss a few dogs and frogs before I met my prince.

But I think that's a trend we need to break because there is never two similar experiences in life, even within the smallest medium things do vary.. In looking for love or connection, boundaries are created by these experiences...

I don't think trust is a male/female thing, it's a human thing, either you have trust issues or you don't. And if you do, you need to work on yourself before you try to get into a relationship. Otherwise, all you're going to do is keep ****ing it up.

I see both men and women hold onto the past and bring that to the next relationships.....whether in a good way or a bad way I will be the first to admit that, even after 5 years alone, my last relationship has caused me to be pretty gun shy and slow to trust. |
