It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark, and we're wearing sunglasses.

I will never stand BEHIND a man, but I will stand BESIDE one.
~MAF

That's a good plan. If you stand behind him, he is liable to sit on you. Men often mistake women for chairs. But that's okay, because women mistake men for doormats. But that's okay, because doormats often mistake chairs for men. But that's okay, because chairs often mistake women for mistakes.

surprised The things young minds rememberIf your barn-doors open,,your horse may get out!

If she had as many sticking out of her,
as she had in her, she'd look like a porcupine.

Smells like somethin done crawled up in ya and died!

You want to always wear clean underwear son,
cause ya never know when a nurse might want to take them off ya.

If ya open a can of sardines, and it smells like your last date,
Ya might otta see a doc son..

If GOD had ment for man to be with man,
he wouldn't have made handles on a womens chest for us to hold on to

OH,,,,I'm SORRY,,,I thought "THIS" was favorite dad quotes,,,wink..

"1. Society Needs Laws

While anarchy can often turn a humdrum weekend into something unforgettable, eventually the mob must be kept from stealing the conch and killing Piggy. And while it would be nice if that something was simple human decency, anybody who has witnessed the "50% Off Wedding Dress Sale" at Filene's Basement knows we need a backup plan - preferably in writing. On the other hand, too many laws can result in downright tyranny, particularly if one of those laws is "Kneel before Zod." Somewhere between these two extremes lies the legislative sweet-spot that produces just the right amount of laws for a well-adjusted society - more than zero, less than fascism."

By three methods we may learn wisdom: First, by reflection, which is noblest; Second, by imitation, which is easiest; and third by experience, which is the bitterest.

Presumed innocent until determined guilty by a judge or jury of your peers. This is one of the precepts our country was founded on. You need evidence, motive, and testimony in this country to even have a case. You can not accuse and convict based on testimony and allegations alone, for this is not justice. Our Constitution was written with the true and impartial spirit of what justice is all about. It is up to us, all of us to look at accusations in a fair and unbiased way, to uncover the truth, and let justice be done.

"In the absence of any mathematical explanation, one thing is for certain; if you engage in games of chance long enough, the experience is bound to affect the way you see God. Successfully draw to an inside straight three hands in a row, and you’ve got to be blessed. But if you’re the person drawn out on, the one whose trip aces just got snapped for the third time, you will go home feeling cursed."

We have war when at least one of the parties to a conflict wants something more than it wants peace. ~Jeane J. Kirkpatrick

Man is the only animal that deals in that atrocity of atrocities, War. He is the only one that gathers his brethren about him and goes forth in cold blood and calm pulse to exterminate his kind. He is the only animal that for sordid wages will march out... and help to slaughter strangers of his own species who have done him no harm and with whom he has no quarrel....
