Someone in another thread mentioned the term 'red flag'. I thought it would be cool to share some profile red flags and also a cool way for those who may have an interest in other minglers to catch a glimpse of what NOT TO DO in their profile. My red flags would be,, 1.the tattoes and piercings thing I already mentioned 2.Males over thirty who speak in slang This is OK for females 3.Males with a majority of pics that are topless or drunk This is OK for females 4.The phrase ' open to anything ' 5. Males with screen names that include reference to body parts or sexual acts This is OK for females and quite naturally 6. Males who mention in their details an aversion to God. This is OK for females Did I understand this correctly? It's a RED FLAG to be male? lol, no, I just dont look through female profiles, so I posted males. Also, I already accepted the correction to my original post about the term 'red flag'. I will say instead, STRONG PREFERENCES that cause me to go on to the next person... |

So is that why my "free mustache rides" e-mails aren't being responded to??????? may have something to do it it..although I'm quite sure some would write to ya quicker with such an offer... Now I'm really confused. Confused.? point being Motown, that some women would be into emails like that. I would think so...not me, but I would have to guess that there are as many women who are just looking for "intimate encounters" as there are men. I'm sure it works both ways..and since I do check out all different profiles, even women because I like to see how old one is, or where she lives and just things about one I am bantering with in a thread, or becoming friends with one... and yes, there are many women who are just looking for sex, it isn't just the men. |

A red flag for me would be someone who is controlling. If they're trying to tell me who I can and can't be friends with, that's not going to work.

Rushing into meeting is also a bit of a red flag to me. I like to feel someone out even before meeting in a public place. Can never be to careful with oneself. A few emails, couple of IM's, a phone call here and there isn't asking too much. |
