No need to personally attack me, I did not personally attack any of you. I am not really looking for a woman right now anyway, only looking for either quick one-nights or nothing at all. If I wanted a woman, I could get one very fast. I am too busy working and working out for a woman right now.

As for those who mentioned they were strong when they were my age, what happened now? How could you let yourself down by stopping to exercise? I take vitamins and minerals for joints everyday, so it should not be a problem.

And remember, I am 5 foot 9 185 Lbs, that's quite big for 7 months, sure you can be 250 lbs and 25% bodyfat and look like a fat sack of you know what, anyone can eat.

Ok...time to quit being nice.

No body is denying your accomplishment. But your ignorance is over shadowing it. All you talk about is how good you look and how hard bodybuilding is. You say its the hardest sport and the hardest thing to dedicate yourself too and you dont even acknowledge any other sport.

YOUR WRONG!!!! Very...very..very wrong. Ive given your more then enough examples but you just completely ignore them.

You cant even debate the subject very well. Your only answer to any question I've had has been how body building is the hardest thing in the world to do.

You want to talk about dedication....try getting in the ring sometime. I have 24 amatuer Muay Thai fights under my belt. All you have to do is go to the gym and pump some iron. That doesnt even come close to looking across the ring at someone who wants to knock your head off. Its no walk in the park to put your body through that kind of training. But alas...I'm sure, even without reasoning...body building is tougher.

And further more...so what if people are out of shape. And what if they havent kept up with the exercise. Some people get bored with it. If thats how you want to live your life, thats fine, but not everyones the same. If they were....this world would be a boring place. If they are fat and happy then so be it.

Why did I stop??? Because my joints told me that if I didn't, I wouldn't be able to walk, much less keep lifting weights, by the time I turned 30. I also ran into some back problems that took lifting completely out of the equation.

Oh yeah...I took all the vitamins and supplements and all that other good stuff that was supposed to make sure I didn't run into problems.

Guess what....they didn't help all that much.

These days, I do what I can. I am not what some people would call " in shape ", but I do get exercise by playing golf as often as I can during the Spring/Summer/Fall season. Winter time is a bit more problematic for me, but I manage to keep myself from turning into a complete heap.

My legs are still in pretty good shape. My upper body...not so much.

But I can live with how I look.

No offense, but golf is a joke for a manly sport. Most people just play it for status rather than anything else.

I don't know what you take, but your problem is definitely abnormal. Many people that lift weights are way above 30 in my gym and are in great shape with great joints. I drink lots of milk too and never had any joint problem in my family or myself.

I wanna compete in 4 years on a natural bodybuilding show, and nothing will hopefully stop me. I have been through a lot of challenges in my life, and nothing is greater challenge than bodybuilding.

If you don't consider it a challenge, you have obviously not been involved with it on a serious level.

Comparing bodybuilding to other sports is subjective, for me its more difficult but for others other sports may be more difficult. Its purely subjective, so don't get so upset.

Whatever man, no point in arguing, we can't convince each other either way.

Good luck with you Muai Tai , I am sure you do and will continue to do great.

I am more of a sculptor, I like sculpting my body to look like the Greek creations, I am not in it for strength or to fight any one, and I am not a fan of any fighting myself.

I swear....

Ok..take a look at what you just wrote. Turn it around and apply it to yourself.

Good luck with your sculpting. I'm sure if you stay dedicated....you will go far with it. I never once bashed you for doing something you love. As you never said anything bad about what I'm into.

I AM NOT...a sculptor, and neither or most of these people that have posted in this thread. Like you are not a fan of fighting...not everyone is a fan of bodybuilding.

Whether you meant it or not...pretty much every post youv'e had in here is trying to convince everyone that sculpting is the only way to go. And that if you dont sculpt...you have no dedication in life.

All I was trying to say was that to you...is that there are other things in this world that require just as much dedication.

Sorry if I offeneded you in anyway. I never intended for this to get ugly.

BWAHHHHHHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

Tell ya what there, slick.

Take your bulked up *** out on a golf course.

IF you can even get your hands to go together well enough to GRIP a club...and IF you can actually turn your body in the proper way to actually manage to hit the ball....and IF, in the process of hitting that ball, you can make it go where you WANT it to go....

I can promise you that you aren't NEARLY flexible enough to manage to do those things, with the exception of putting your hands together and even THAT might be pushing it. You may get them on the club in front of you, but you would NEVER get them into the proper swing position.

Then you can come back and tell me what kind of a " joke " golf is.

" Just play it for status "???

Let me tell ya something. The average golf course, around here, is around 3600 yards. That's right around 2 miles. Now...there are a whole lot of people that ride around a golf course in a cart to get to their ball. I do it pretty often myself.

However. I try, as often as I can, to actually walk the course. I don't always hit the ball straight because I am not that good at the game at this point. I took a pedometer out there with me once when I was walking, and I covered 4 and a half miles. That was while toting a golf bag that, with all the stuff I have in it, weighs in the neighborhood of 50 pounds. That walking, and carrying that 50 pounds, was mixed in with swinging the various clubs a total of 125 times ( the last score I hit when walking ).

Go through all that, then come back and tell me what a " joke " golf is.

There is a REASON that Melody said she wanted someone who would be able to go golfing with her. She's a fitness expert. You gonna tell her that one of the activities that she would probably recommend is a joke?

Personally I consider the whole idea of body sculpting to be more than a bit of and obsession. Most body builders I have met are excruciately slow thinking, selfish, fixated on only there own interests, and not that physically appealing. They are certainly not stimulateing conversationalists or particularly good dancers. That v look makes me think of a cartoon characture. Rough coulased hands their not that comfortable It is certainly not comfortable to lay next too. Or to make love with because the shear weight and lack of ccordination and sensation is very frusterateing. With muscle bound necks they are rarely good kissers and have terrible breath from the protein suppliments they take.

As far as being the most difficult thing to do that is just hogwash. Training your mind or raiseing a family, or taking care of ageing parents takes much more strength both mentally, physically and financially.

As far a useing a physically beautiful woman who dates you as and example of your character you and values. I doubt seriously they would find you even remotely interesting for anything more than a photo opportunity. If they have to worry that you will justify destroying your health by taking steroids . The truth is they will drop you like a hot potatoe. Especially if they hope to father a child.

Golf is also a mental game! If a person is not versed in strategic thought, or mathematically inclined at determining angle vs. trajectory, speed of swing, etc, then golf will not be a fun game on these points either!

Golf also teaches patience and good sportsmanship - as long you don’t use Happy Gilmore as your role model.

ComedyGuy, you are very closed-minded. Open up your thoughts and you can educate yourself to be a well-rounded person who enjoys many aspects of life. winking

golf is the hardest of all games to master

its all in mechanics and how well you can coordinate your body to work together

there is a LOT more to golf than just walking around whacking a ball

it is so demanding and frustrating that even Tiger comes home pissed off cause he didnt do as good as he thinks he can

Yep. That too.

That's one of the things that appeals to me about the game.

I guess it appeals to the Virgo in me...lol

I have done the Happy Gilmore thing a few times. It's getting to be pretty rare since I am actually getting better at the game.

Exactly. Melody Girl mentioned the mental aspect of the game, but the idea of having to have the proper mechanics on every single swing ( and different mechanics for different shot types depending on the situation ) takes a lot more dedication than the Arnie wannabe thinks.

think about this trying to hit a 99mph fastball with a stick about the same diameter of the ball with less than a second to decide if your going to swing or not, also trying to figure out if the next pitch is going to be a fastball, slider, change up...etc.....remember hitting a baseball isnt that easy cause if you get a hit ,and get on base 3 out of 10 times your going to the hall of fame:smile:
