I assume less attractive women are worried to go with a muscular guy because they are afraid he will sleep with other women.

You really should stop assuming things.

not assuming, just making some general statements, cinderella is the most attractive woman in this whole site and she likes her guys with muscles, now that motivates me to get more and more muscular. I am only 21, so in terms of muscularity I still have a very long way to go.

I am not on this site for dating, I am here for the forums and discussion, I am not desperate or anything, I am just too busy for a woman right now.

Wow! You are definitely living up to your screen-name.

What are you too busy doing?

Exercising that gigantic muscle between your ears?

I've been a fitness trainer for 20 years -- I thankfully own my business -- and the industry is full of myths, steroids, false imagery and a whole lot of superiority.

Most people are surprised to learn that I do not like "thick, no neck" body types. I like lean, tall, sinewy bodies that develop from an average workout. As you tried to argue earlier -- it's NOT because I am afraid he will cheat. That is a ridiculous comment.

I surmise a lot of my preference came from dealing with the attitudes of other trainers and gym rats. Generally, they are quite insufferable and the entire image becomes ugly.

Also, the mobility and flexibility of someone who is overly developed is comical. My yoga classes are filled with guys trying to touch their toes or reach over their heads for the first time in years. Think of T-Rex and his arm reach! I want a guy who can compete in a triathlon with me, rock climb, or play golf with me. Most "muscle-heads" can't function outside of the gym. I digress.

You are young and I think your communication is not being heard because of your approach. There is a negligible amount of truth to what you say about depression in those that do not workout; however, your arrogance is veiling your message.

Working out should be a lifestyle; a way to improve the quality of life. I am much more impressed with someone who has lowered their cholesterol, lowered their blood pressure, lost body fat (from obesity), and who has changed their affect (the way they carry themselves) ahead of someone who works out to extremes for no other reason than for vanity.

I always appreciate a good debate but try attacking from a less supercilious position. winking Don’t forget to exercise your brain as well.

Do you prefer a guy with muscles or an average or below average body?

why would anyone prefer 'below average body'?

doesn't everyone we love become beautiful the more we love them? in other words, their imperfections become sexy traits, and we see them from a different perspective.

The sad truth is, that's what they tell ugly people so they won't go into depression.

i think you're ugly

but i'm sure someone else finds you attractive. right?

I am posting a pic like that because I am proud of my accomplishment, I only worked out for 7 months seriously and built muscle quite fast. Am I ugly, in which way? I think I am above the lazy fat American.

Muscle is great for strength, for the bones, endurance, and live longer life and dominate in sports. I am against steroids and drugs too, but everyone can agree the average woman is attracted to at least an average or above average male physique.

Look at Arnold before he was famous, he was surrounded by the most beautiful women in USA, there were no ugly women associated with him.

At least for me, muscles helped with gain confidence, which helped me do much better in all aspects of life, its not so much the direct effect of the muscle, but the indirect effect.

What woman does not love hard biceps, six pack, v-shaped, and big male pecs bouncing all over her? You women wish you could have your hands all over my bouncing pectorals and hard shoulders, its a shame.

'bouncing all over her'? hahaha, you think women find that sort of language, and visual, attractive?

that's just one example.

I certainly would not mind a large breasted woman bouncing all over me, so the other way works too.

I am not saying muscularity is everything, but it definitely adds tremendously to the package and so many smokin' hot women can't get enough muscularity...

There is a such thing as too much muscle. Once you start losing your flexabilty, you lose your cordination, and with out that, you may look good, but theres not much else you can do but lift more weights.I do agree that the more muscle you have gives you advantages in some sports. But not all sports. Take kickboxing, baseball, basketball, hockey. Yeah...these guys are ripped, but there arent muscle meat heads. They have to have tons of coordination and fleability

And I do agree with you some in the fact that the west coast blonde bombshells (Melody Girl exluded), the girls that pose for playboy, and the hotties from Miami may like a well built man such as your self. But they are nothing more than a trophy with not much substance. She may look good in your arms...but shes dumb as rocks.

For a hookup, why would you want a smart girl? Just use the hot bimbo for sex, then dump her.

I am not talking about marriage material as I am too young for that. Actually I am much more coordinated and stronger and more confident than before with some beef on me. It's not for everybody, muscle takes a tremendous amount of dedication, its probably the hardest thing in life.

Listen man...as a guy, I understand where you are coming from. It does take a lot of dedication to have as much muscle as you have. It takes a lot of time in the gym and a pretty strict diet.

But it is by far no where near the hardest thing in life. Anybody with enough dedication could become as ripped as you are. Olympians arent muscle bound and a lot of them dedicate there life to the olympics...not 7 months.

I'm in pretty good shape but I have maybe lifted weights 5 times in my whole life. I just prefer not too. I'm dedicated to other things such as mountain biking and Muay Thai that dont require me to be big. I prefer speed and agility over brute strenght.

All im trying to say is...you can be proud and confident....just dont be so cocky about it.

I am just being cocky because I am 21, I have an excuse.

Last time I checked, hot chicks love cocky guys too.

But bodybuilding is the hardest I believe, its a combination of diet, exercise, sleep, mentality and emotionality. If you wanna be the best bodybuilder, you gotta push yourself further than anyone, you gotta have great genetics too.

I am not saying I am better than you or anyone here because I have some muscle, all I am saying is look at Arnold and all the bodybuilders with the hottest women on the planet, and trust me, bodybuilders are not rich and do not have the best personalities according to you.
