grumble

I wish this was not the case- but in my experience men do not want to be just friends- sex is their #1 priority-I would like to be friends with a man- good luck-

Golly...I really hate it that you've had this kind of experience....some of my best friends are men...without sex being envolved...

I have many female friends & we have never had sex.

I think BOTH people have an equal responsibility when having sex, most of the time. To blame "men" is to say you had no part in the act. If that is the case, send them to jail.
Perhaps people need to slow down & get to know eachother better, first.
Please don't put the blame just on "men", ladies do the same thing.

I am still being "blamed" for my first wife "getting pregnant", 40 years later. She had no part in it??

I am new at this responding stuff, so please bear with me,it is pretty hard I think to actual date online. There are too many variables to consider.
so not taking things too seriously is a smart move I think. I met someone from here a while ago, we are good friends, could have relationship, haven't met yet though, so I have some reservations until i do, and know he is the real deal. I think it is a good thing to keep in mind to have fun with the people you meet and save the serious relationships for in person.waving

I agree Grace. But I am always worried that the man I want to be friends with will want more and I will hurt him. I know a man that I would to be friends with but dont call him because I think he is very lonely and will take it as a "flirt".. It is a shame because we could enjoy the company of each other..

How about, being blunt?? Call the guy, explain your views; leaving NO room for misunderstanding & try to be friends. Take the "bull by the horns."
Isn't that what women's lib. is all about?

Woman or man, little can happen that we don't have some personal choice in.

I agree with Sage... It's all about choices me make or don't make...

We all (men and women) set our own personal rules from an array of reasons, events and experiences or lack of.
Some are so rigid, with no flexibility, some so loose anything can and usually does happen....lol

It's all about YOU.... or is it? That's a decision we all make eventually...

What's best for you? What are you willing to accept or not accept?
