I don't call women 'hun', but it seems like a decent amount of women call me or other guys hun so I don't really know what the problem is.

i don't know why men would call u hun. unless they r trying to get some kind of response out of you. what are your conversations usually about, and do you know these people or do they just come up and start in....obviously u don't like this word..and it provokes u.i don't like it either, but i get "lady" which is just as bad...

and so tell me something important. where did u learn to speak LATIN. that is something to be proud of....i admire you for that, and keep studying it...even though a dead language...

I call people hun/hun, sweety, babe, or baby. They can call me the same thing I dont mind it a bit. I think its nice

I just read Melody's post. She GOTTA hate me!!!! I use Honey, Babydoll, sweetheart, sweety, Love, psychotic b**ch, lovey and other endearing terms constantly.

Just how I was raised.

Most times it doesn't bother me except when a waitress or young girls in a drive thur call me that or "sweetie", makes me feel OLD!

Personally, I've used "hon" millions of times, but I was a waitress at the time. Worked wonders, I got alot of tips. And if you net a nun you get a netfull of "holiness".
