You are sooo right, I was just going to say that this is why no one takes responsibility for their own actions and blames everyone and everything else for their own mistakes and our screwed up system completely allows it. Gee, I wonder why our economy, health care and everything else is such a mess?!frustrated

Here's one for you
Johnny is in the cafeteria and sits at a table. He is the 9th person at a table for 8 so he pulls a chair over from another table.
1959-nobody notices or cares
2009-he is told by the lunch moderater that he must move. He stands up but contnues to talk with his friends-he is given an in school suspension for disrespect.

This happened to my son last year. I called the principal and suggested since my son was not doing well in Math send him to tutoring instead of the in school suspension. After some arguing he agreed. My son had nothing on his record and passed Math. Also no more problems at lunch.

Ya know what gets me?

When did teachers become "friends" to our kids?

I remember when I was in school they were actually authority figures!!
