I didn't direct it to a specific person, simply to avoid offending
someone. Too many people walk around with thin skin looking to be
offended. I wasn't offended by the threads where it's said that all men
are pigs, all men cheat, all men are looking for the next lay, etc, etc.
What I posted, I posted as advice, without malice. Anyone who was
offended should not have been, because I didn't single anyone out and
was specifically talking about "woman who bad-mouths men" NOT "woman who
bad-mouths a man".

not of me, but of an Irish journalist, Veronica Guerin, who was killed
by the IRA, (she is one of my many heroines). My present avatar is of

If I ever find a pic of myself that I like, I'll post it. It has to be

in the mind of the beholder, AND of the beholden (hmmmm, did this use of
words make sense?)

So you may have one of the two votes necessary, but not the second.


Your words and the spirit behind them surely bely your assessment. The
notion behind poetry is that words transcend earthly limitations....

So, deleting the specifics (you tricky thing!), I stand by my more
general conclusion.

I already admitted I was ugly. But ugly doesn't equal easy, at least
not to this old gal it doesn't.

I agree that there should not be man or woman bashing. Unfortunately we
are human and it happens.

Im a weeble and I love it. I like to bash and mash potatoes, but people
bashing is something I try to avoid. But I do have my downfalls, I did
bash a man who made some very rude comments about mothers. If a woman
would of made the comments about mothers I would of done the same.

IMHO, nobody should bash mothers, it is just plain not right.

Guys, maybe we should take a count. As many nice guys as there are up
here JSH (in my opinion) there seems to be more quality women than
quality guys. Maybe a little bashing would not be so bad for us. OK,
maybe bashing is too tough of a word. Let me put it another way. Maybe
the women are trying to tell us something, and we are not listening. So
before we fire back, let's go get the Q-tips and clean out our ears, and
do a little more listening to what the ladies are trying to tell us.

If there is anything a man doesn't want, it's a woman who bad-mouths
men. There is a noticable difference in the number of men-bashing vs
woman-bashing threads in here.
