My comment was to you and in genral...It has everything to do with your
post...if you can call yourself ugly...You have no self-confidence...People who view themselves this way have a way of showing their lack of confidence in everything they do and that is NOT attractive!!!!!! What you call bashing...others may see as honesty based on personal experiences or maybe even a joke...BUT I don't see what you call MEN bashing!!!!!!!! You say ugly people a chance...I'm saying that what is ugly to you is not neccesarily ugly to someone else... |

The word "ugly" has strong undercurrents in its emotional impact for
some. There are other's here (besides Spider) who describe themselves as ugly, people who strike me as self-confident. When I hear them say that word I simply translate it into "not meeting the 'standard' criteria for an aesthetically pleasing appearance", and thats just -how it is-. A person can 'know themselves to be a beautiful *person*' and also have much confidence, and simply use the word 'ugly' (for themself) as a shorthand for the fact that their appearance is judged that way by 'most people.' |

massagetrade,
Yep, that's exactly what I was wanting to say, but I figured anything I posted with be misunderstood and someone else would take offense. It's not really about "are you a beautiful person". You can love yourself and still notice how people react to your appearance. |

I agree. Not to sound shallow, but the guy you are most unattracted to,
is usually the one that treats you so preciously. I know this by experience. LOL I couldn't help but chuckle. Ladies, let me tell ya, Spider meant what he said in no harm. It may appear he was jumping to assumptions on your character but he didn't mean it. He's a great guy |

It amazes me how some people call themselves "UGLY" ..
You are beautiful, some of the most intellgient interesting people I've met. That to me is beauty! SheNerd and Spider don't say that lol. I used to call myself ugly as a teen because I wasn't so popular and I wasn't "updated on fashion, with glasses and a bad hair style" I was different physically but the personality is what makes you shine. |

Here's some advice for you women:
When you date a guy, he really doesn't want to hear about all the other guys you've dated before and how they've ****ed you over. Either get over it or don't date. I speak from experience here. |

What massagetrade said is exactly how I feel about this subject. You
can love yourself and still know that you are physically undesirable, (I know, as I fit into this category myself). |

mnhiker: Women don't want to hear it, either. About the exs and how
evil, deceitful, and cruel they were. Or how good they were in bed. |

Amen to that!!! :)

YOU TELL-UM SPIDER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
TRUTH IS SOMETIMES TO MUCH FOR ALL TO SEE!!! |

spider really .. are you saying it is women because women are beginning
to take a step and come out of the private sphere that your lovely proverbs puts her in? are you talking about how women demand equality now, how we're trying for equal pay, an ERA, health benefits, medicine, are you talking about our continual push for equality.. is that what bothers you so much.. because just so you know i wouldn't expect you to understand a woman's pain! but keep your post to where you know what you are talking about. |

If you cannot get past the wrapping you don't get the gift. And please
don't harp (sorry, best word for it ), about your ex's! Some of us guys get fedup with reruns! If we remind you of your ex, please decide, yes or no. My last girlfriend would not stop on the subject! I really tried to be a friend, to many guys in her life already and I felt like Dr. Phill! Like to fish and chat holler! Nothing to drool over myself but know respect. |

and not all females sit around and talk about their ex's if anything my
advice would be to grow up men and women both talk about their ex's they both feel sorry for themselves, both sexes have their pretties and their uglies, both sexes are equal in faults and goodness |

wow,,,,I should look at profiles better,,,I thought Spider was a
chick,,,and just saying that UGLY CHICKS AND GUYS need lov-n to Like he was ugly but is ok with it but ladys find THAT not liking? I should read better,,,lol |

For Shellerd....
You are not ugly, not by any stretch of the imagination. When I first saw your picture, my immediate reaction was: classic beauty, hollywood good looks, with great and sympathetic strength of character showing through.... Of course, I looked at your profile and saw a bunch of teddy bears How about posting for more real pictures? You may be surprised! Oceans |

sororitygurl4life,
I think you have completely missed the point of my thread. Go through a couple forums and look at the threads that are just male bashing. My suggestion was that if a woman is seeking a husband on this site, talking about how much she hates men would actually hurt rather than help her cause. If you knew anything about me, you would know that I am not opposed to woman's rights in the least and I would love to be a house husband in charge of cleaning and child care. |

|
|
the initial post of the thread is offensive.. to be honest...
and as i said both sexes do their whining, and if you have a problem with a particular individuals thread you tell them don't create a whole new thread that addresses the whole sex as being one way. |

Hey, all you ugly people...maybe OleJeb can help you!!!
I have an exercise program and some 'ugly vanishing cream'...I'll give you a good deal. Look to your left, that is my 'after' pic and if enough are interested I'll post my 'before' pic....you won't believe I was ever that ugly. When you see what my program did for me...you'll just have to have it. |
