Many museums have free days. These are great too because there are so many things to talk about. Another option is a picnic in the park. You could also invite him over to watch a DVD at your place and make popcorn. Or drive to the airport and watch the plains take off and land.

The point to a date is conversation and getting to know each other. Talking costs nothing. So, all you need is a place to do it.

You could try little indy coffee houses. People tend to hangout there more than the big chain places. Also bookstores are good and the DVD section of target. You could try church if you are into it.

Anytime you see an interesting person just say "Hi." But, it may be a little sholcking for him because men don't usually get this. So, have some kind of conversation starter ready. Ask for directions, ask his opinion on something you are curious about. Smile and become one of those touchie feelie women.
