Also, they are stating that anyone opposed to Shari'ah Law should be classified terrorists.

Shari'ah Law is quite interesting. It benifits men to no end. Gives us all the power.

Until we can get Christians under control with all their imposing of their laws on the world, we cannot get any other religion under control. If it okay for one it is okay for all.

It's primarily religious law or is viewed that way. I don't know how they propose to impliment Shariah law in existing countries that already have a law base in place.

I believe I read where, now, in the UK, Law Enforcement do not interefere with domestic dispute when they know it's a Muslim family. Such as, child or spousal abuse.

It all depends on the sect and country. Most of the islamic countries/areas/families that are more oppressive of women are generally radically conservative muslims/islam.

However, there are some radical conservative christian religious sect that impose similar oppression on women also.

Can't judge the whole religion or lump muslims in one group, they vary just as much as christianity varies.

Shari'ah Law isn't a religion.

It is based from religion and is generally viewed as religious law. Most islamic countries are governed by religious law.

I know it can be a foreign concept here because of our 'separation of church and state'.

I dont know about that.I think the Muslims have their own court 2 deal with some things and i know they can get a mortgage and not pay interest on it..trouble you cant say 2 much because you are then classed rasisit.but i think if they come here they should live by our laws not theirs

I think that UK has more trouble with maintaining past laws and standards due to have the political system is set up on judical precidence.

Where in the US, there is a more concrete standard for laws.

However, I don't UK law that well. However, in the US, I don't see Shariah law being incorporated.

As for domestic violence situations, here in michigan, those are investigated due to laws and legislation. Dearborn, MI is the largest concentration of arabs in a non-arab country. It is less likely for an arab neighbor to call in a domestic dispute into the police because of shariah law, because that is deemed a family matter, not a public matter. Where michigan law deems it a society/public matter and may press charges even if women is unwilling.

willing, have you personally spent time with muslims from different countries of orgin to know what their personal beliefs are? Have you actual been to different islamic countries to actually see the difference between them? Before, you go spouting rhetoric and defining groups of people into a box. And learn about different cultures/religions/countries of orgin!
