I think the scariest scenario we face is the possibility of a right wing president that is christian and takes the bible literally, especially the book of revelation, and he has access to the nuclear launch codes.

Guys like Huckabee scared me more than any other candidate.

Huchabee had Rod Blagojevich, the embattled former Illinois governor and his wife on his show last night. What was huchabee's first question? What association did Obama have with....

Don't you love it when politians get God when they are in trouble.

No offense but there isn't that much difference from one to the other. I have met some very kind and considerate, loving muslims in my day same with christians. But I have also seen what can happen if the doctrine is fed into a mind that is not well to begin with or is not capable of understanding that others have a right to believe what they want. That gets ugly and people have died at both hands.

I grew up in small town Texas where the Methodist church and the Baptist church are always on opposite corners of the street. It's always a mad house at noon when church gets out and the Methodists and the Baptists try to get out of the parking lots first

My grandfather (the Methodist preacher) used to let his congregation out five minutes early so they could beat the Baptists to the cafes and ice cream shops

I wants me an olive-skinned, thick-lipped, creole, voo-doo queen with long nappy hair, in red come-fck-me heels, leopard-skin mini skirt and braless under a wide-mesh unbuttoned sweater.
Yea, Mamma!!

I was brought up in the Church of Christ which is similar to Baptist. But our preacher was NOTHING like Wright. Not all churches or religions are bad. just because it may not be for one person doesn't mean it's not right for someone else.....tolerance

Methodist are more practically and sensible!

<----Methodist! bigsmile

(I should clarify... united methodist (from the north), which is more 'laxed' than southern. I think religion down south is more strict in some senses than northern religion)
